Honestly haven't explored Chibnall's era of Who at all, mostly because of its reputation. 13's theme wasn't so bad, tho. Reminded me of a contemplative moment in Mass Effect.
The Lone Soldier The Triumphant Time Lord The Man who Runs The Good Man The Woman of Hope An Old Friend And the Man who brings Death The Doctor, everyone. 💙💙
Nine's Theme - A broken, scarred old man who has lost everything. Who sees burning and screaming every time he closes his eyes. The music is soft, haunting, ethereal, representing the constant pain and loss that haunt this incarnation. Ten's Theme - The sadness and loneliness hasn't gone away, especially as he keeps losing people, but the music is a bit more confident, a bit more energetic. There's an element of cockiness to it, as though he's starting to realise that being the "Last of the Time Lords" means he isn't just a survivor. He's the winner. Eleven's Theme - The music is a bit more whimsical, a bit more eccentric, but more heroic than ever. This is a Doctor who fully embraces his roles as both Amy's silly imaginary friend and the universe's greatest defender, and isn't afraid to use the latter reputation to intimidate his enemies. But there's an undercurrent of danger throughout the theme, as he's forced to confront the effect his behaviour has on the people he loves the most. Twelve's Theme - This Doctor has survived the Time War and Trenzalore. He isn't interested in being anyone's friend or making people feel good about themselves. He's just trying to save as many people as he can. So his theme is much more serious than anything before it. After everything that's happened, he isn't sure whether he can call himself a hero anymore, or even any kind of good person, but the fact that this theme still has a triumphant edge proves that he always was. Thirteen's Theme - She takes Twelve's final words to heart, bringing warmth, hope and optimism wherever she goes. But the eerie bit in the middle shows danger is never far away, as old friends and old enemies, and a history she thought forgotten begin to resurface. But as the triumphant crescendo at the end shows, she never stops trying. Even as her own life falls apart, she keeps that sunny optimism, and never stops saving people. Fourteen's Theme - This is the Doctor at his lowest (With the possible exception of the War Doctor), and the music shows it. We're back to the original "Doctor's Theme", but more sombre and moody than ever, as the Doctor is forced to contend with all the loss and pain he endured in his Eleventh, Twelfth and Thirteenth Incarnations. Fifteen's Theme: The Doctor is healed and ready to go. He's back to his best self, and there's still so much of the universe ready for him to explore. His theme is bombastic and frenetic, as he heads off to pastures new with an open heart.
"Run!" "Hello! Um, new teeth, that's weird." "Legs! I've still got legs!" "KIDNEYS! I've got new kidneys!" "Oh, brilliant!" "I know these teeth... WHAT?!" "No way. I'm me. I think I'm really really me!"
“Rose. Before I go, I just wanna say you were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And you know what? So was I.” “I don’t wanna go” “I’ll always remember when The Doctor was me” “Doctor, I let you go” “Tag; you’re it” *14th technically doesn’t have last words considering he’s not actually dead* *15th does not have any last words yet*
00:00 - 9th Doctor (The Doctor's Theme) 01:12 - 10th Doctor (The Doctor Forever) 05:28 - 11th Doctor (I am The Doctor) 09:29 - 12th Doctor (A Good Man) 14:47 - 13th Doctor (Thirteen) 16:58 - 14th Doctor 17:38 - 15th Doctor (Fifteen)
@@lordoftherakatanempire6072 I used it in the original version but decided that The Doctor Forever was more definitive with it coming back in the 50th. The 10th Doctor kinda has a new theme with every series being Song For Ten, The Doctor Forever and then The Doctor's Theme Series 4. Maybe I'll do a medley idk
8's theme really gives me strong I Am The Doctor vibes from 11's run, dark but still has that feeling of excitement as you fly around in the Tardis fighting evil, but my personal favorite has to be the War Doctor's
10th doctor shared until the end of season 4 the theme with 9th (poor Ecclestone). Indeed the leitmotiv in the second audio is the less but arranged differently. Plus didn't noticed how well they complete each other's theme (all themes, 11,12,13 also)
My problem with Series 1 of RTD 2 is, it feels like it’s being edited like tiktok video of plots and continuity being ignored to focus more on the landmarks of a reaction from of the action/character plot twists than being an actually good episode or story Where was the script editor the entire time?
9th and 10th are the best ones for me. Their themes are the only moments where I can feel the soul of the Doctor, as if he's trying to speak up to me spiritually and shows the amount of weight they feel, despite desperately trying to hide it and make distractions 11th theme is kinda distracting, like the exact song adults will play to keep children busy and make them forget everything else and it only works as long as the song is being played. it might have effected me, if I had watched that era when I was 10-18 years old but the magic would be lost as time progresses and by growing up, just like how a distracting song for children only works as long as it's being played. 12th just tries to show more of warrior side of the Doctor and although it's certainly better than an immature distraction, but I see more of the soul of a soldier than that of Doctor himself. I say this because soul of a soldier can exist in anyone else. 13th is trying to reintroduce the same level of Doctor's soul the same way 9th and 10th did. if seems to work in first minutes, but, I don't know, then it just seems like another symphony song
I just love the transition from 10's sombre but victorious theme to 11's upbeat and whimsical theme. It feels like I'm being pulled out of the dark and into the tardis to go on an adventure.
