This is one of those games that's simple mindless fun to play, but there's also a ton of stuff to work for that's "They didn't have to do that, they did it for us" like the extra costumes not being just "Find it and unlock it" or play a special mission that plays like the others, but having you fight that Wolverine was a great way to handle it. It's like multiverse style and you're taking the suit from him.
that costume looks so good. As annoying as the reskinned monsters are, I do appriciate how wolverine attempts to dispatch them, it feels a lot like a 5'3 guy fighting a regular person so the wolverine experience is that much elevated
I’m up for castlevania lord of shadows, also yeah it’s a shame how games are these days. Anyhow I enjoyed this episode also if I’m not mistaken there is a world of Warcraft references in that level in a secret cafe, stay safe ciudad.
I also absolutely loved the flying segments and also the Battlefront space stuff, both current and classics. Just makes me wish Halo did more of it than just the ONE 15-ish minute segment in Reach and the even shorter one in 4 that wasn't as free roam-y and 3 dimensional as before. Gimme that giant freedom of movement that I can roll and strafe and all this flashy stuff you'd see them doing in the shows and movies. Also, I love the concept of Starscream trying to no-scope something to look cool and missing and getting pissed that everyone is finding it hilarious XD
Has anyone noticed how similar that MGS2 and V are in terms of themes? Venom Snake plays an extremely similar role to Raiden, Solidus and Skull Face both tried to rebel against the Patriots system only to be killed by a pawn, and even the ending is a dark twist on MGS2's ending. In MGS2, Solid Snake tells Raiden (the player) to live his own life not as a Snake but as his own person, where as in MGSV Snake tells Venom (the player) to honor him by continuing in the role he was forced into for the sake of his Outer Heaven, leading to his death after becoming a demon
@thequestion2859 gameplay-wise it's easily my favorite. I'd give MGS2 the edge in story. Metal Gear Rising is the one I've replayed the most, but that's a whole different beast
11:57: your vehicle type is chosing when you gain your spark form the all spark. and that updates the protoforms t-cog(not sure it thats how you spell it).a t-cog gives the cybertronian the ability to transform. When giving there spark they can be a light or heavy build for a vehicle. There are some that can transform into both a a gound and air vehicle. Megatron might be one example. In this game he transforms into a tank. While in transformers prime he's a space craft. This probably isn't the best example. Because during the development of the aligned continuity. Each team work separately. This created a lot of plot holes in between shows, books, and games. And Megatron in transformers prime was inspired be the Michael Bay movie. A better example would be Springer or Michael bay's drift. Also you might not know what a protoform is. A protoform is a cybertronian before before it scans its for a vehicle form. This is all from memory so some info might be wrong but this basically the 101 of cybertronian biology. 15:31: the game world's aesthetic?
Yes they choose what they turn into. At least most of the time. Cybertron modes I’m not sure on but some where built as humans vehicles then given life. Dinobots in G1 were built cause they thought strong dinosaurs would be handy. When they come to earth though they normally have a scanner built in or other wise that chooses a form to take. The 2007 ds game was really cool cuz you could scan different vehicles then pick what you want to change it to. One of the reasons it was one of my favorite games.
I am so extremely sorry for what I'm about to say....if i were you id stop reading here... But 1:00 in and I feel like there is a dildo joke to be said. With a guy who turns into a pocketable item that can shoot things....and gives himself to the second most gay like character in transformers....
This game was fuckin awesome, the detailed gore to me as a kid was everything I wanted in a hack in slash, being the only other game I played like it was Dante’s Inferno, both are legendary titles.
This historical footage gives a realistic effect not from the visuals, but like old historical footage that once happened, remember that world war 1 or 2 was extremely hell, it would be worse if there were Titans in that era
@17:57 Spiderman 2000, Spiderman 2 2004, Hulk Ultimate Destruction, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, the Batman Arkham games and Spiderman Ps4 also have RPG systems with plenty of upgrades and combat moves Oh yea, Hugh also had plenty of emotion in Logan. Maybe thats another reason why thats the best X Men spinoff (not counting the Deadpool trilogy)
hot take, i dont blame WB for the mortal kombat employees getting nightmares. YOU signed up to work for netherrealm studios. You KNOW what games they make. maybe ley someone else work there if youncant handle it. its not like its a suprise you know?
6:55 I think that checks for a msg reference. now we can confirm. That Star wars, Lego, metal gear, and now X-Men are all connected... But the real question. As a god of war clone, how well does this stand up in the brutality department. And for the cut accuracy. Does it stand up to the Star Wars Jedi outcast. There is another super hero games that has in depth rpg mechanics. Several infact X-Men legends, X-Men legends 2, marvel ultimate alliance, ultimate alliance 2, ultimate alliance 3 exclusive to switch. X-Men the animated series s3 ep13 title: nightcrawler
