The ocean has been good to us.
We met while surfing, and ever since, we’ve never been far from it - or each other. My name is Denham and I'm from Sydney's northern beaches, Mari is from Rio de Janeiro. Neither of us had any sailing experience until 2017.
We did an introductory sailing course and never looked back. We bought a 1988 Northshore 46 called “Latitude”, which we refitted in between our day jobs, slowly getting her ready for the deep blue.
In 2019 we had our first big sailing trip departing Sydney to Lord Howe Island then New Caledonia and Vanuatu, returning to Gold Coast about 6 months later. It was amazing and we were left wanting more.
In early 2020 with Mari pregnant and an eye in the future we sold Latitude and bought our catamaran which we named Rio.
Our goal is to Sail, surf and enjoy the sunshine. Whenever we can, wherever the winds takes us.
