Hi Lucas, Great job on your videos! I grew up in Illinois and moved to Vermont 8 years ago. My husband and I are avid cyclists. I too have ridden the North Shore Century, and countless miles in Wisconsin. I recognize many landmarks in your videos. My husband and I “stumbled” upon your channel because we are planning a bicycle trip to Nova Scotia next fall and riding the Cabot Trail is on our to do list. Keep up the good work your doing with your channel. You maybe the next Ryan Van Duzer, 😂. Go Bears! K
Thank you so much! I wish I lived in Vermont, I've been there before and it's amazing. Feel free to comment with any further questions about Nova Scotia, I'll definitely be making a video within the next month or so with some tips on the Cabot Trail so keep an eye out. I'm glad to hear you've enjoyed the videos!
Hello again, I am going to be making a video very soon with Cabot Trail tips, and I remembered your comment and I was wondering if you have any specific questions about the route so I can make sure to answer them in my video. Thanks!
Hello, Nice to hear from you again! Thank you for thinking of us. Great question! My husband and I have given it some thought, and we hope our response doesn't overwhelm you. So, after doing some preliminary research for our Nova Scotia trip next autumn 1. Do you recommend riding clockwise or counterclockwise? It appears most people bicycle it clockwise for safety reasons. 2. How many miles did you average per day and if you had to do it again would you recommend averaging more or less miles 3. What was your favorite part of the trail? 4. What was your favorite cafe/restaurant? 5. What gear did you carry that you didn't need and if you were to do the ride again what gear is essential other than a bicycle (🤣) Keep up your good work, I haven't had a chance to watch your Hilly Hundred video yet but will be sure to soon. Safe pedaling!
Great video! We drove by there on our short time in Canada this past summer...I wanted to stop by we didn't have time. We did check out the Bay where the waters flow in different directions. Looking forward to watching your other videos! And I want to smell pizza trees sometime!
If you're thinking this will be the last video on my channel because it is the finale of my documentary series from my latest trip, don't worry because there is a lot more to come! During Labor Day weekend we went to the city for an event where they shut down the most iconic road in Chicago--Lake Shore Drive--for bicycles! (And yes, there will be drone shots.) We'll also be attempting a 100-miler this coming weekend. So stay tuned!
