I was gonna buy this, always wanted to fly a GS. But guys are saying the graphics are subpar for the money. Of course the systems and the flight handling (when autopilot is off) are very important. Need some reviews of actual users please?
Then you try and mae your sim look respectable for 2024 and get told to remove the plugins you where told to buy as they're causing your sim to stutter, well and truly done with x-plane, I would say its been nice but I would be lying, its 1 long constant headache of trying to make it all work, have fun on your 20 year old looking game.
@@Duckssssssssgenuine question, why? I've played xp11 when I was super new to sim flying and now that I've been trying to fly realistically on msfs, all I see is xp dudes shitting on msfs, but what are the actual reasons and differences?
@@sgtjonzo XP12 does have better physics since it doesn't have the limitation msfs 2020 cfd has, which only lets the wings and body interact with the air fluids, while xp and 2024 let the entirety of the plane interact with them, pods, engines, flapperons, spoilers, etc. Still, over xp11 its barely a difference, xp12 is the one that is better, but also came out more than 2 years later than msfs 20. Still, even then most xplane fanboys are just yapping, because most of them only parrot around when they barely know what msfs does and doesn't.
I cannot put into words how much I love this aircraft. It has held a special place in my heart for 30 years. My Great-Aunt worked for MD and was part of the MD-11 project. She gave me a bunch of swag when I was around 11 or so. I will be adding this to the collection come Friday.
@@michaelchenal5288 I’m not sure. I haven’t had the chance to fly TFDI MD11 since I fly on X Plane and not Microsoft Flight Simulator. But I’ve heard many good reviews and judging by the looks alone, they’ve nailed it.
