any idea the same thing is for other Audi Q models? Not sure there is a fog light installed in Q3 and Q5, and only replacing the switch is the case? If so it would be great!
Looks like the docs you linked aren't there anymore. Is there any way you could get me something to get my lights working like this? Just removed the red strips from my turn signals, got all deAutoLED's for the rear, and added rear fogs.
Just got a set for my 2020 A5 sportback. Love the fit, finish and looks. Only had to use two trim clips (one on either side of the rear mat at the door opening). They appear to have more coverage and protection than the oem rubber ones. Time will tell if the R&R for cleaning will be frustrating.
I got a set for my 2020 A5 sportback, and installed them today. The fit, feel and looks are much better than the Weathertech mats in my Accord and Sorento. I used two of the clips that tuck under door drim (one on each side of the rear floormats at the door opening), but otherwise they fit perfectly without pooches, bubbles or wrinkles. Time will tell if taking them out and reinstalling them will drive me crazy.
The headlights look pretty cool with the laser but don't seem to do much at all. The highbeams on the q7 are already pretty good. This makes me feel better that I dont have the laser haha. I would def recommend the matrix activation as it is much more useful and safer
It's really hard to see anything from this video, especially since he shows it functioning for practically a split second. Also, he's not in an entirely dark environment. Essentially the laser light is more of a spot light rather than a spread beam (which is the responsibility of the high beams instead). It does make a more apparent benefit in a pitch black road and how far of a distance it can throw especially straight ahead.
Yeah I agree the laser function is underwhelming! I recently did the matrix light activation and will hopefully get a video of it soon. I just need to find a really dark road, which is hard in the city.
Hi @pokguy915 I just bought myself a Canadian sportwagen and I would like to code my light as the one in your videos. The lights operate just like the American model out of the factory. The only problem is that the links you provided dont work anymore. Do you think you could update the links? Thank for your help!
Reminds me of my corgi who was around 1 year old during the time this video was filmed. He passed away a few months ago away this summer aged 12… I miss him every day.
