This is a pretty cool collection. When i was a little kid in the 70s, we had the g i joe adventure team. I had the original eight ropes of danger… good memories.
Touchwood was a spinoff show for Doctor Who, the white mask robot looking creature in the 1700s outfit was from an ep of Doctor Who as well. Along with a lot of the loose figures in the box.
Hey, I have a channel, Southern Michigan. I just found a full tub of He-Man! Check it out in the coming weeks. At least a few rare ones, from the quick google check. 🎉👍😎
Great pickup. Good to see some loose figures. I think as a kid, toys should be be out of the box and played so that you build that nostalgia 15+ years later when you are an adult (kidult). Having them boxed as collection pieces, they become more of an investment for a collection or a burden from hoarding. I'm not sure how my stuff will turn out, but I'm enjoying their presence on display to reminisce the good times, selling them whenever and teaching my kids about reselling and making money.
I’m about to make a short RU-vid clip, on my channel, you may want to see. I have a large tote full of loose action figure from the neighbors basement. I’m a sports-card, coin, video game, vinyl collector, not a toy guy. This tub could be fun content for a video on YOUR CHANNEL. I’M NEAR Adrian, so not that far! 👍😎
Buying vintage toys makes sense to me. Modern manufactured "collectibles" -- not so much. I wonder how many people are coming in and loading up with newly made stuff?
This was fantastic! My friend Dr. Elra Morgan is the guy who bought your Clash of The Titans Kraken for me back in January. We did a trade and I wanted a Kraken so it bought it for me and I traded him a GI JOE Defiant for it.
Thank you for sharing this video with us, it was so cool to look round the house! The amount of amazing stuff in there is just unreal, even the clothes and everything, you could open a museum of the 70s/80s/90s from it. This has to be the most impressive toy haul anyone has ever found, congratulations dudes!
It may still be worth a lot nowadays, but just as people die, the interest in a franchise may die among with the people, maybe even tomorrow. In a certain way the value of these things are bound to a humans own lifespan. How ironic.
