Vinyl, my god. No one has such clear, beautiful, vibrant, and strong sound as you have. For ever your servant and endlessly envyous of your servant listening to your voice transmitting these heavenly notes.
so, ... can WeMe please just put this EP up on BC, already? there's a selection of records up on their BC page, but with gaping omissions from Ed, Andy, Dave, Leyland, etc. these are crucial elements of todd's catalog (especially the melodic bits innere) & having a digi of another one of his standout 'Stages', now that i've stumbled upon it, is kinda essential
6:12: ..." if he likes women and likes to blow his dope and I get out in the street and help him get some mo' it ain't nobody's business " Damn! Wasn't this racy in the early 60s?!
Can you believe, that in a piece of vinyl "engraved" and a piece of diamond "put" on it, produces this marvelous and classic soundtrack?!?. Hence I can't. ;).
I'm the president sure I' am the president you know I got this thing I'll be president. Where did you get it ? I woke up and there it was it was just like a miracle.
Although it doesn't have all the tracks, it seems like they didn't include all of the annoying tracks where they decided to add dialogue from the film on the soundtrack. I hate it when they decide to do that. Don't wanna wear out a great movie!
I bought the soundtrack on vinyl back in 1982 and still have it to this day. In later years I bought it on cd,which has extra tracks. This, and Assault on Precinct 13,are John Carpenter's best soundtracks!
They are tremendous, and I have them both on vinyl as well, but Prince of Darkness, The Fog, H3 SOTW, H2018 and HKills are my top five. I listen to all of them constantly. I love his Lost Themes vinyl as well (4th one just came out).
