The main chorus of the song is a perfect example of the aggressive mentality in Chicago hoods. I’ve had people from hoods down South and out West ask me numerous times, “Why do people seem so aggressive & angry in Chitown hoods?” I always say the same thing, “The Chicago mentality has been every man for himself since it was founded, combine that with the rigid/gloomy winters & extreme segregated poverty, life value has always been cheaper in Chicago; mankind is bound to become aggressive under our circumstances.”

The reason why Chicago youth are so aggressive the community and the circumstances in which they grow up and was programmed and designed for straight failure and these guys at a very young age know and understand that it's a strong possibility they will not live beyond the age of 25 years old so that in itself creates a different type of mentality because no living thing wants to die sooner than it has to so they walk around with thoughts of death everyday all day long which causes them to live on the edge with very itchy trigger fingers not knowing if someone who is walking near their circumference could be an enemy or not all of these things are really done by design by our government to keep our prisons full they give the young black youth no opportunities no schooling no type of training so that leaves no jobs and no income other than drug sales what is a child to do when he becomes a man he's still stuck in a child like Martin state with children of his own because he wasn't given the proper opportunities to grow and develop as a man so the cycle repeats itself he dies not around to help raise his son and teach him how to become a man and the child is left with the mother who doesn't know what it takes to raise a man with many different men running in and out of the life of the child until eventually the child feels he's older he wants to help his mother and the only option he has to help her with her struggling is the drug dealing friends he grows up with in the streets how does our government and people with common sense allegedly not see that these people have no choice they do not do what they do because they want to they do what they do to survive it's like putting a good old American citizen average American citizen and dropping them off in the jungle with many different animals not knowing what animal is dangerous or a friend. YOU WOULD TAKE NO CHANCES! The youth have no choice because at a very young age even the little good kids get caught up because you are a product of the neighborhood you come from so people treat you the way they are going to treat their enemies from your neighborhood so you are forced to become a part of that neighborhoods gang for protection when you have a single mother that cannot afford to move you somewhere where you will be safe NBA 40 a decent education. Because of where you from should someone try to harm your mother or your sisters or any member of your family because you are not interested in being part of a game ask yourself what would you do if you know these people with seriously kill your loved one because they have done it before would you not try to kill them first or if you city of anywhere near your home or anywhere after such threats have been made what would you do after the police has investigated ask the person some questions and let the go and tell you they cannot do anything until the person physically commits a criminal act against you? That physical act could be the ultimate ending of everything you know as it is and your family is still in danger because you are gone and unable to protect them. A lot of things would change if our government just gave our young men of color jobs and opportunities there will be no crime there will be no drug dealing there would be nothing in the streets but this is not something they want because then prisons make no money and campaign donors as well as Congress loses out on their huge investments in the stock of the prison system in which all people of power are heavily invested. Invested in our legal slavery
