Of course this is a one of a million things to happen and it's a recreation of the crash scene from cars except no driver ramped off of the upside down car, the fly in the air
I don’t know if anyone noticed, but this country hick racetrack has the WRONG kind of k-walls on the outside of the track. The k-walls used are the kind of DOT walls that should only be used on public roads, NEVER on a race track. The bottom sticks out than the top. This creates a launching ramp that allowed the car to ride up and over the other car. NEVER should these walls be used on a racetrack. Someone needs to go to jail!
To roll/flip the car back over onto its wheels, all they had to do was chock the underside toward the towtruck to prevent the car from sliding, and then slowly lift and pull toward the towtruck. The NASCAR safety crews have done that many times, and when I was a Volunteer Firefighter from December 1987 to November 1997 on a couple of occasions, we had to help the towtruck operator do just that to remove a crashed vehicle from an accident scene.
In addition to that, once the car is up on its side, you can take the slack out of those chains and gently lower the car down. Don't need to slam it down like that.
You would think the base of the flag stand wouldn’t be that close to the wall, you would think the base would be further back and the flag stand would extend out towards the track.
Actually, they look and analyze the best way to get the driver out safely before they ever do anything. They don’t just rush to flip the car back over, lol.
Holy shit... Flag man is very lucky. Also seems like the guy on the inside had no idea about the Dale? Or then tried to close the door way way too late
