They're a band that was formed around 99/2000 in Knoxville, TN. They went on to release several albums independently and on a major label. Toured with bands like Hatebreed, 36Crazyfists as well as Nonpoint if I'm not mistaken. Had several US and European tours; several of them were sponsored by Jagermeister as well. They've not really done much in the last several years, though. I believe their last album came out in around 2015. They were supposed to reunite a few years ago for a show, but they canceled a few weeks before it was supposed to happen. The last post on the band's facebook was the announcement of the cancelation in 2021.

They just dropped another one a few days ago feat F-Hero and Bodyslam called "Leave it all behind" which is sick as f***. They will be performing at Sick New World Festival in Vegas next month as well. Bring Me The Horizon will also be there. So a good chance we get to see Kingslayer live posibily. 🤘🦊

Great one! This song is about a metal festival, and Babymetal are queens at getting everyone in the crowd riled up haha. Tom Morello contributed his signature guitar sound, and was on the big screen, as he wasn’t there live. You should check out Road Of Resistance (Official Live), one of their most epic performances! We got another banger for Japanese festival or any festival around, they performed this at the recent World Tour 2023 and getting the crowd going bonkers with this. The live debut was at Apocrypha - Another One exclusive show prior to the track release, it was fun and totally unexpected, everyone was having a blast and even started with a Kami Band solo after a while without it. There's a live proshot version at Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka released in the official summer sonic. You'll notice some slight difference between the live and the studio album. The song title is Metali!! (metal + matsuri, which is a Japanese festival) and you can hear it in the spoken section when MomoMetal is doing the Kabuki moves style. Just so you know "wasshoi" is another shout used in Japanese festivals when men are carrying the shrine, similar to sore and soya in Megitsune and Karate. The traditional Japanese instrument you can hear in the beginning is a shamizen, also used in Megitsune. I can totally see why they pick Tom Morello on this, the groove, the catchiness, the super energetic jump and those typical 90's vibes at funk or alternative metal live concerts. Wasshoi!“ Great reaction - welcome back. 🦊🤘 The song title translates as 'Metali' (or 'Metari') - it wouldn't show up in translations because it is a made up word, it is a fusion of the words metal and matsuri (festival). The song is about a Metal Village holding a metal festival, so they have included all the matsuri shouts everybody would be calling out as encouragement to the people carrying heavy floats etc like "Sore, Sore", "Dokoisho" and "Wasshoi!". They are inviting us all to dance - I am reliably informed there is something in the lyrics (Su sings it and it is in Momometal's kabuki theatre section) about we are all idiots or fools - the idiots who watch and the idiots who dance ... so as we're all here and we're all idiots why just watch, we may as well all dance. That "Are you ready!" was Momometal, she was revealed as the new third member last April, this was their first song with her on it and she even got her own featured spot. Tom Morello was on the big screen in the white hat (that is from the official video). He wasn't there - he didn't appear anywhere in the US tour and they played something like 29 dates, the chances of him flying all the way to Japan to play one song had to be zero. Absolutely right, if you need cheering up just listen to BABYMETAL (just don't pick one of the songs where they'll make you cry instead).
KAMI BAND a bunch of world class session musicians are behind BABYMETAL....this band TRUEy is a 2 headed monster....the music alone is worth the admission and Sumetal the lead singer and the other two ladies are worth their admission also ..Amazing metal band and pop group who has been holding down the metal scene for 15 years🎉🎉🎉
Until Poppy did this collaboration with Bad Omens, I never heard tell of them. Poppy has had my ear for more than 6 years now and she is just about the most varied artist I know of and also the most unpredictable .Poppy has also been Grammy nominated and it was for a song called "Bloodmoney" .Just a little ahead of Poppy's last line in VAN you call hear Noah's voice. First time listening to Babymetal is a ride.... they made a whole new genre honestly, and then started spreading it around the world.... I still have trouble trying to find any song that is not good that they made, compared to most artists where I have trouble finding one good song....

Asami (vocalist), a former ballerina, wrote the lyrics based on the historical background of "Revolutionary Etude" and inspired by Norse mythology and the ballet suite "Swan Lake. "SwanSong" is a requiem dedicated to the warriors who fought to reclaim their homeland, a masterpiece that only LOVEBITES could complete.
You may want to do yourselves a favor and check out the 2020 version of this song with the Chopin Intro and it has a much better mixing you can clearly hear the piano when it kicks in on the 2020 version it is with original bassist Miho this one here has Fami so you can compare the two. Believe me this intro is nothing compared to the 2020 version also this concert is the first with the band for smiling Fami on bass and you can tell she's happy to be there.
While this version suffers from the poor mix, it does have its virtues, one of which is that you really see how Asami is perfecting her vocal control and power (from an already very high level). The best version is the one with the Chopin Etude as the opening.
