I'm going to be honest here, I love this cover so much, an unhealthy amount if you will, and I've seen myself coming back to hear the second voice, the one that starts at 1:10 (yes, I memorized the timestamp) because I just love the sing song-y tone it has. However, maybe my ears are not keen enough to recognize the voice on the official voice banks from Chipspeech or (and this is my hypothesis) it is a heavily modulated variation of one of the voice banks, which for me, personally, is very sad because I cannot hear said voice anywhere else that is not in the 13 seconds it appears in this song. Having said this, I beg you, if you are willing to, would you tell me at least which voice bank is it based on? So I can do a more specific search for the lovely tone you achieved in that segment of your cover. Please.
it's Lady Parsec HD! I didn't do anything crazy with it, this song is honestly meant to be a sort of voice reel for all the characters, since it *can* be a little hard to find individual songs for them each, so this demonstrates each of the basic voices. Parsec HD is one of the more popular chip voices it seems since she sounds pretty humanoid compared to the others. but hopefully that helps! I wish you luck on the hunt o7
Ah! you're so kind, your covers brings me so much joy, I'm over the moon. A hundred times thank you, I cannot express how glad I am that you actually took the time to answer my silly little question. Have my best wishes for you, I hope you get far, wherever you want to go. (人 •͈ᴗ•͈).。*♡
I need a lyric song from this channel or creator for E 101 MK II’s theme… it’d be so perfect: Gamma and Beta exchanging lyrics between each other in the heat of battle. Gamma pleading for Beta to come to his senses, while Beta is just fixated on destroying anything and everything that moves, all for the sake of his pre-programmed, soulless, narrative to serve the Doctor. And the two birds within the both of them are calling out, crying for sweet liberation.
I had no idea what Chipspeech was before hearing this, so I didn't know what to expect. At first, I was taken aback by the sound of the vocal and thought they overshadowed the music far too much while feeling like it didn't really fit, though I understood that the intention was to make the voice sound like a robot similar to Gamma's. HOWEVER, something compelled me to listen to it again- and then again, and before I knew it, I fell in love with how the vocals sound. They were actually done very well, and the lyrics are such a fantastic reflection of Gamma's character and story. Also, on a minor note, I had no idea that the small bit of vocals present in the original song were saying "It's my pleasure. Ready to die." all this time, so I have to thank you for that! It's such a minor detail but it adds another layer to Gamma's character. I remember Gamma's story making me sad when I was younger, but I don't think I felt the impact of his story nearly as hard back then. Now that I have a better understanding of both the story as well as my own emotions in general, this character stands out to me as the best character in the series. Keep up the incredible work, and thank you for giving a fantastic character some well-needed love. RIP Steve Brodie, and Gamma too.
Before characters like shadow, blaze or silver E-102 Gamma was pretty much the character whose story arc was the first time the sonic games ever dappled with a serious story arc for one of their characters. We pretty much see gamma’s entire life from his birth to his death and I’m glad that they canonically didn’t bring him back in future sonic games, his story works perfectly as a standalone one.
