Loved his music and Hal David. These songs were the backdrop to my childhood in happier nicer times ....how can you quantify the pleasure to millions of people they have given ...then , now and forever 😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤
I dearly love David & Bacharach productions, but I would be remiss if I didn’t point out to state that the back-up singers are more than likely better singers than the “stars” anywhere or anytime ever. Those are the ones who deserve the applause.
I had heard of Burt Bacharach death a couples of months after his death and got a little misty eye. I then went and gathered all of the LP, cassettes and CDs of mine (I even had few 8 tracks but not player to play them on) and just played them all day and into the night. There will never be an artist like him
