I'm planning to go to Kynance Cove in a couple of weeks. Always interested in knowing what rocks I look at I very much hoped to learn something from this video. However, the music is utterly annoying and so loud that I could not understand the explanations of what the students showed to their lecturers. I very much would have loved to watch it and learn without that dreadful music. Should you ever do something like this again, perhaps you think of those viewers who want to learn.

I'm 27 and always been passionate about science, biology and technology, and all my life I thought the entirety of Antarctica (including its bottom/foundation) is all just ice and snow. I only now realized that the continent's foundation is sand, and 0.18% of the continent is NOT covered by any snow/ice, and is called sand-dunes. I always subconsciously thought that the absolute center of both north and south poles were 100% made out of just ice and snow because both poles are the furthest points on Earth away from the sun, hence why it's extremely cold there, and since both poles have some kind of center-gravity phenomenon, caused the ocean water in the very center points of both poles to stop moving around, like water in a cup placed on a table undisturbed, so immobile sea water + extremely cold temperatures caused the poles to begin form ice, and it kept spreading thicker and wider, and then got covered by snow from the skies overtime, and the entire continent spread wide up until the point where the ocean waters begin to reach above 0 degrees Celsius, in which water cannot become frozen. So all of that assumption was fairly realistic to think, but turns out not to be true. I'm so mind blown. seriously.
