@@kirtheweasel no i meant the original Rayman 2 :p as a kid that place used to be really hard to maneuver and parkour around due to the lack of hand-to-eye coordonatiln for me at the time as a kid.

@@kirtheweasel And you'd also have to find a solution for recreating the Whale's Bay level in the future. Unfortunately, I know that Rayman Redistributor is based on Rayman Redesigner, itself based on Rayman 1. And in Rayman 1 you can't swim or walk in water, because if you fall in you can die. Secondly, there's no Carmen model in Rayman Redistributor. We need a solution
@@TiLiv972 Well, I guess, I can use low gravity curse to simulate the effect of the swimming. And possibly, the Carmen can be replaced by some custom graphics? Anyway, I think Whale Bay isn't that hard to replicate... Maybe I will use some of the GBC ideas 💡
@@TiLiv972 Yep. I'm going to recreate the retail version of the game, but in 2D, just like it was originally intended. And instead of Ly, there was Betilla the Fairy (and, most likely, as her companion, The Magician).
@@cosmixo6212 Ah, this! Well... 1) These are not electoons, they're yellow lums 2) I used the mod downloaded from Rayman Redistributor 3) You can also replace tings with lums by using this mod 😉
Man, I love your Rayman 2 recreations, a couple suggestions: can you make the moskitos to be little? Also, add a time limit to the Magician Challenges in the Globox Village? Keep the great work!
@@federraka By the way, I'll upload all the levels I made (Woods of Light, The Fairy Glade, The Sanctuary of Water and Ice and The Bayou) as soon as I complete them. So, the demo of the level pack approximately at the beginning of the new year.
@@kirtheweasel Like, think of this. Imagine you could go to the past, just after Rayman 1 became a success. Then, you approach someone who's a BIG Rayman fan and you tell them that a new Rayman 2 game is in development before you show them this same video. Their reaction would probably be big and crazy.
@@adamthedragon2529 I think it will be replaced with plum instead. I don't know actually, but it definitely won't be the same as in original Rayman 2 or GBA version of Rayman 3.
@@OrtizBeff Well, Lac-Mac was originally inspired by Globox's design... Unfortunately, there's no any Lac-Mac graphics on Redistributor... I'd be happy if someone could make it 😊
@@kirtheweasel yes ,your 2d interpretation of 3d rayman 2 is astonishingly good ,as much as I love 2d games,I would prefer that this is how rayman 2 should have been (no hate to Rayman 2 3d though)
@@TiLiv972 Me too since The Canopy is my favorite level. I'm very slowly with every of them, cause I want it to feel almost like original ones, also I wish to make it similar to PS1 prototype.
