had the same experience but in houston my tesla got thrown around and assaulted with hail no damages except a barely visible hail dent but it’s enough to piss me off lol. hope yours had no hail damage!
Hello, @deagen2026 Glad you and you car made it out. Yeah, I have one dent on the trunk. Kinda pisses me off too. But glad it was just one dent and not hundreds. Thanks for watching and have a great evening.
Hell0 @tomtom8306 OMFG it was. It was one of the moments that I thought something really was going to happen and badly. But all in all, only one dent from the hail. Kind of shocking.
I've made this same flight. United does a very nice job on its international routes in my experience. In fact, flying to Oz I prefer either United or Qantas, having flown every carrier that make the trip from the US. Longest I've flown is IAH - SYD, nearly 17 hrs. Next trip I'm doing is DFW-MEL, 17.5 hrs on QF, 787-9 going and an A380 (my favorite) returning.
@Parula06 Hello. Yes United international is a great product now, especially with all the aircraft now the "real" Polaris. I have been flying ultra long flights a norm now. I once thought flight of 8 to 10 hours was long, not anymore. 15 to 18 hours is the norm now for me. Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day/night!
Hello Carolyn, thanks for watching United has flown out of SHV for a while. This is an ERJ-145 small reginal jet. No ideal why he was speaking so fast... :)
I am sure it was a lot, it was a very early morning flight. With bad weather. Thanks for stopping by and watching. @SixTenVisuals Have a great day/evening.
I would love to be on that flight one day. Right now I have flown to India from Newark that flight is 16 hours and change... (really long...so long I got 7 hours of sleep).
On April 1st, 2022, I flew this aircraft (N2243U) from HNL back to SFO on flight UA396, here's my trip report: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aXJScfVe_XE.html
Hell Pedro, I really didn't look to see. As normal when flying to another country the information is given in the native language of destination country as well as English.
Hello, thanks for the question. One of the best ways to avoid sitting next to a child is, sit in an exit row. No one under the age of 15 is to sit there. Other than that, it is luck of the draw.
You used two cameras at landing, awesome! I flew this route very often, most recent one on a 330 three weeks ago. I always enjoy Qantas service and I am glad that you did so as well.
Cristian, thanks for stopping by. That is understandable, on flights like these sometimes it is worth getting the upgrade or paying the price for the Business class. Even the few extra inches in Economy Plus makes a big difference. But even doing that I felt wiped out on my trip to India when it was a 17 hour flight due to the war in Ukraine. Thank for watching again, have a great day/evening.
Hello belajar keren, Thanks for stopping by. It was a direct flight from SYD to LAX. Fun thing is I am heading to SYD this morning from and connecting in LAX. Have a great day.
Hello O'Hare Planespotting. Thank you. I really like the BA taking off in the rain and Qatar departure at dusk. Thanks for stopping by and happy plane spotting.
looks like it was such a nice and smooth flight. I am going on this same flight next month, I hope it is this nice. I am so scared. Also my flight is at night
Hello Lana, Thanks for watching. Don't be scared, flying at night there isn't anything to worry about, in fact in the summer time, it will be a little smoother, mostly. I hope you have a great flight. I am heading to Sydney this coming Saturday, see you in the air. :)
Really enjoying your channel. Just subbed. I too, am a SHV resident and loving seeing your flights in and out of KSHV. As a kid, I remember the good old days when gates were full of Braniff, Delta, AA, TWA, and. Frontier 727's, 737's and DC9/MD80's. Back in the 70's and early 80's, KSHV was a happening place. Milk run flights with many connection flights all over the south. Fun times to fly for sure. KSHV has gone thru so many changes, (good and bad), but I'm encouraged that airlines are adding flights little by little. Also, the slightly newer and bigger ERJ's are a nice touch. Having Western Global flying in their DC10-11's and 747's is refreshing to see. Glad they were able to get that location for their maintenance hanger. KSHV has so much real-estate to offer, maybe in the future more expansion will come. I'd love to see the entire gate space redone and even add more gates. And to add to that, I totally wouldn't mind seeing airlines such as Spirit, Sun Country or even Frontier, return to KSHV, (Long shot for sure). Even Southwest, (extremely long shot..), could do very well here. But, that's beating a dead horse because the effort has been tried. Anyways, just wanted to say Hi and glad to see another local posting flights in and out of KSHV.
Hello Chuck. Thanks for watching and subbing. Yeah, I hope KSHV will be better in the future. I am trying to catch some of Western Global landing, but haven't yet. SWA would make a great addition to SHV but you are correct...A VERY Long Shot, even with casinos here! It's a shame that Delta didn't grow here for it being one of its original airports that it served. Maybe one day they and United will fly bigger jets into and out of Shreveport. Have a great day... :)
@@RatherBeTraveling Thanks for replying. Delta was king back in the day. They used to have 4 gates on the south side. Always full with their equipment. In fact, for a very brief time in KSHV history, Delta had a weekly flight using the L1011. It would park on the corner gate closest to the tower. Delta history here is very remarkable, however, they did just give up on this market. KSHV has potential, just hope the Airport Authority continue their efforts in luring new airlines or expanding current one we have. Still lots of work to be done out there.
28:45 the automated announcement skipping like a busted CD is proof of the ERJ-145 showing its age (This aircraft, N16571 retired in 2020). Still, the 145 is a great aircraft for the short range United Express flights
Hello Kevin. I agree 100% anything under 1.5 hours is a good range for the ERJ-145. And I have to say it is much better than the CRJ-200. Thanks for stopping by, have a great day/evening.
Hello, John. Thanks for watching! Was wondering who was causing the spike in watch time! ;) It was a good flight, about to repeat is in the coming weeks. Finally heading back to SYD! Have a great day!😄
I’ve flown between SFO and AKL a few times on 747s and 777s on the 12 hour flight between the USA and NZ. It was a very nice, comfy wide-body flight for the economy airfare. ANZ is a very professional airline who take excellent care of their passengers in every way. And their free meals aren’t half-bad, ANZ does have some solid, pretty decent airline dinners.
