Hi! I love the thought of starting with bone broth ☺️ Where do you get your bones? And what quality do you look for? I would love to ask the same thing of the liver as well! We typically get organic/grass fed meat from Aldi - I have made bone broth with chicken bones before, but would you suggest beef bone broth? Thank you so much!!
hi Rebekah, Okay. so I would recommend get you beef bone from a local farmer. That what I did. I. bought half a cow and I asked for the bones. The woman that raised the cow was a co worker of my husband feed the cow really good stuff and the majority of the time they were grazing the grass. as for liver I order it from AZURE Standard. But I would only by organic grass feed meets when introducing to baby. I would assume you can get the beef liver from the farmer too but i havent yet. with the next order I will. I would suggest starting with beef broth because is it so much more nutrient dense tense chicken bones. but chicken broth is really good for later. also I want to add dont feel intimidated by the local framer thing. you can look for butcher shop and they will most def have bone. or you can always get store bought bone broth.
How many meals did you prep in anticipation of postpartum? What kinds of things did you make and were they made with your husband preparing them in mind OR were they things you could heat up yourself while postpartum?
In total I think I might have had 20. This last time was a little bit different. My husband was able to stay home for a very long time so he was able to get a lot of cooking done. All the meals I made were pretty simple and had directions and there was not much extra necessary steps besides like you know defrost or add cheese if not, the first helpful thing I did. Because once my husband left for work is always the most chaotic in our home and having premade biscuits, premade waffles, and pancakes was super helpful. I hope that answers your question.
How to put any elastic wrap, not that specific brad. If it’s a non elastic you’d need to be fixing the tension of the wrap in the shoulders to maintain tension of the wrap
@@kingdomrootedmama I have my kids grown up, and still have my bobba wrap from my second one ;) and I lost my ergonomic carrier, otherwise I would still kept it. I’ve always wanted a non elastic one ;).
Oh name over the years I’ve collected a lot from different stores. Recently from neuflora, some from amazon, ivy city co, old navy, loft is a favorite and so is banana republic. Also second hand shops. Hope that helps.
That is a great concern. I have worn all five babies. They might be Velcro babies while in the infancy stage but I noticed they are quite independent as toddler. That to say I start slowly decreases in wearing them once they start crawling and they wear them very little when they start learning to walk teaching them to be without mama wearing them.
@@quinniewinnie1276yes with wraps i highly recommend solly baby wrap. I have tried the boba wrap it’s my first just didn’t like how thick it was. I also have a really nice discount code in my carrier vid.
Love the video topic, people seem to assume that once you give birth the hard part is over with, when in reality postpartum is a huge challenge to overcome for those not prepared for it.
A baby that knows the parent can be depended on is free to test growth and independence because they know they have a safe haven to call on when overwhelmed to reset and try again.
