The Tony Award-winning The Old Globe is one of the country’s leading professional not-for-profit regional theatres. The Globe is San Diego’s flagship performing arts institution and serves a vibrant community with theatre as a public good. The Globe produces a year-round season of 16 productions of classic, contemporary, and new works, including its internationally renowned Shakespeare Festival. More than 250,000 people annually attend Globe productions and participate in the theatre’s artistic and arts engagement programs. My friends and I were there at many times eating dinner and enjoying the live music at La Fonda when Nato Cano hired Monica then Cathy Marin. They were so good, then they joined La Rena de Los Angeles, then Cathy went on to Divas. She is one of the best teachers we met at an event. Viva Mariachi Music! 🍽🍹🍻🌮🍜🍤🌮🧀🥑🌶

I remember growing up in South Florida and going to the rocky horror picture show viewing dressing in character and interacting with the movie. Those were the days!
I do wish that this was made into a movie. I’m a mariachi myself with my father, and well, my dad comes from Mexico, and if this was made into a movie, I’d watch that and the play as well. I just wish that, this play came to my hometown of Sacramento California, which is where I am from and where I still live. Regardless of that, I just wish that this play was made into a live action movie.
