With all due respect skin color is irrelevant. PG was as great and deep a blues guitarist and singer as ever was. Sadly it still seems to be a boutique majority of listeners who feel this way. This is a Fabulous collection of the Mac live. Ever many Thanks for helping to keep them alive as only the Tube can do :)
As we used to say in highschool: baa-baa Stevie Nicks. That was considered a defamation, a desecratious, blasphemous jumping on the bandwagon and defiling every thing musical and pure for a mcmansion in boca, FL.
I was 8 then in school in black and white Ireland ....this looks so cool !....Jeremy Spencer was a bloody great singer !..anyone else cop how really gorgeous the ladies are here ? The original Fleetwood Mac were a great blues band
Peter, Danny, John, Mick, Jeremy..... although I think John McVie may have been the second bass player. What a lineup...... IF you can find it get the "THEN PLAY ON" album or CD.... you won't be disappointed
Excellent video, THANK YOU!!! I always loved Peter Green FM. As far as im concerned there was no other. 👍 I had a friend back in the day went same way, so sad. RIP PETER🥀
NIGEL in Canada🇨🇦 I noticed Americans speak in ABSOLUTES this is the best, 'hands down' music 🎵🎶 is EVOLVING moving forward there is plenty of room for everyone life isn't 'black n white' , plenty of GRAY AREAS
Never saw either versions of Fleetwood Mac, but one night many years ago Peter Green appeared at the White Rock Theatre Hastings and held us in the audience spellbound. What a privilege
Danny Kirwan was really in my view really playing his 🎸 guitar underrated he does rip that vibrato puts his soul into playing a great contributing member of Fleetwood mac and added to there sound peter and Danny worked good together ❤ both amazing rhythm and boomer benders of our past rip boyz you left your mark nobody will ever forget these 2 for inspiration i go to this all the time in my musical 🎼 guitar journey 💙 love the soulful blues of the past .
Being a guitarist, as much as i like to see these old videos, I hate where the cameraman was obviously not a musician and neglected to focus on the guitar breaks. More intersted in the babes doing the frug.
I think I had heard of Peter Green but never really listened to the Mac with him in it. My first exposure to Fleetwood Mac was when Buckingham-Nicks joined. I like this bluesy version of Mac though. Also liked Mac with Bob Welch. That was a really good version of FM too. Guess there really was no bad version of FM lol If you want your mind blown, look up videos of Chicken Shack with Christine Perfect (later McVie). Really good bluesy music too.
This is a mind blow! Never seen this! This is ancient history ! Danny is still playing that crummy Jap Strat before he got his Les Paul Great God Almighty!! God Bless the lads. Rock on lads. Rock on . We loved you madly.
Oh to have been there! Too young and wrong place. What a band and atmosphere. Witnessing magic in the playing of Peter plus the others. I’m a guitarist but ashamed to admit that only recently have I started to recognise the huge talent that was Peter Green’s, much missed never bettered. Stu X
Buckingham/Nicks are an appropriate example of the death of artistic expression and the rise of commercial garbage, a reflection of the death of the counterculture,
Столько великолепных голосов и исполнителей- инструменталистов во главе с Питером Грином в одной группе! Это, что-то! Только Битлз мог ,,похвалиться'' этим, но там другое направление в музыке, а тут блюз!!!
