Hi, my name is Riley. I'm an amateur singer-songwriter, and post covers of songs that saw me through tough times. The recordings I post are pretty unrefined; ultimately I'm doing it for myself and so I can grow beyond worrying and obsessing about what people might think of my stuff.
I struggled with describing my music, so I amalgamated all of my lyrics, posted them into chatgpt to "analyze" and then asked it to write a description. I thought it was funny; here it is below:

That's right! I usually play with my guitar tuned down a step and a half (from E to C#); I also use the chords from the key of G as opposed to the original's key of C, I'm pretty sure? For example, the first chord of song is normally Am; in this case, it's Em.
great performance as usual,thanks! when I see the mountain goats, I always remember tv show Weeds and song Cotton which was the first thing I heard from them...I´m just waiting when you release cover it of it :)...by the way the Weeds sountrack was perfect, wholesome vibe, bands and styles new for me by that time and awsome songs like "keep sake from state radio", "fuck was I from jenny owen" "Rilo Kiley - With arms outstrecthed", "floggin molly - If I Ever Leave This World Alive", "Great Lake Swimmers - Your Rocky Spine " and many many others...btw, I think all these would suits your style pretty well so you can take it as a suggestion what check out and listen and eventually to cover if you like some of it :)
I'm so happy to hear you think I did it justice! It's a really sad and compassionate framing of the people who find themselves so overwhelmed by the world and their circumstances within it and who have no support
I found you through pat the bunny covers just today...I like your style, both singing and guitar play... thanks for writing down the set-list to the desription and hope that youtube will recommend me your channel when you´ll be playing live (I understood that this is a record of the live session)...keep going, keep kicking ;)

I don´t know why it didn´t find them first time, but now I got them ... listening few times, perfect voice (something new and unique comparing the other covers, bit a johny cash vibe :) )....If I may say, one important piece is still missing in your playlist and that´s the New Mexico song :)
I love Pat the Bunny! I will try to add some of the newer ones to the playlist I have for artists I do consistently; my brain gets scrambled and I usually do all my organizing all at once

Thank you so much for your encouragement! By 'sticking with it' do you mean playing guitar? Either way, I happen to just regulate myself a lot emotionally through playing and singing, so it's something the more I feed, the more I need to do it hahah.
