#Art, #motorcycles, #guns and more by DC-area biker Bobcat. I ride a 2014 Honda #Valkyrie, a 2023 #Ural Gear Up and want to get another Honda Shadow 750 to customize. By day I am a #union #HVAC technician. By night I'm an artist and cook. In between I'm a #queer gun-owning Tree Hugging Leftist Commie Princess, so be warned. This is my beautiful and terrifying adventure in the world, and want to share it with you. Be safe out there. We're all in this together. Good luck.
I have the identical gun and scope and my groups were no better than 3” at 15 yards using the Crosman premier pointed pellets. I switched to the Gamo Tomahawk and group size went down to 2”, but still not good enough. I’m shooting from a bench rest and really concentrating on trigger squeeze. I also changed the screw on the trigger second stage and it was a big improvement. The trigger pull is way too heavy on the original configuration. Anyone have a preferred brand of pellets?
Thanks for responding, I appreciate your insight. I use Gamo Rocket and Gamo Hunter pellets, but I don't have a bench or rest so my groups aren't as precise.
Breakbarrels are very hold sensitive, most of them do not like to be held tightly and tight against the shoulder also try different weight pellets . I suggest you watch you tube video of other people who have the same gun and see which pellet was the most accurate.
This is insightful. Unfortunately I have two more whole tins of the existing pellets I have to go through before I try to order any more. Thanks for watching!
Mine is a 2016 Proxy and I love it. Not sure what distance you would limit it to but I have done a 500 mile round trip, motorways and country roads, up hill and down dale and it was brilliant. The Turbo gets you away speedily and parking is a cinch! My only disappointment is the media console. Very poor radio reception and no SatNav.
I'm also a little disappointed in the radio/media console. I don't have a reception problem but it's not the best to use. With GPS on a phone, I don't need more distracting navigation. I ride motorcycles and drive a big work truck so this is a fun option. Thanks for watching!
The "right people" are those that support my work. Help with either sharing my art with the "right people". Hope that clears things up. Thanks for stopping by.
Time lapse is hard because these paintings can take days and days, and then there's all the edits and everything else. but I might on my next engine study. Thanks for stopping by.
You're mighty kind, thank you. I've a bunch more reference pics waiting to do more engine studies from all kinds of bikes I see at meetups. I really like how this turned out.
You're mighty kind, thank you. I hope to sell prints some day, but I'm always open for commissions. Inquiries can go through my website so I stay organized.
Seems it hid my reply for some reason...? You're very kind, thank you. Some day I hope to have prints for sale, but am always open for commissions. Inquiries can go through my website so I can stay organized. Cheers!
I think it might still look a bit incomplete. (I think it might look that way because of all the white space - and maybe because you can’t quite tell what it is in the beginning.)
