I have the same truck, can’t decide on getting something newer and shorter wheel base or just keeping mine and building it. It is nice having 4 doors but I prefer shorter trucks. However, having no car payment is nice and mine is a close build to this one, currently at 220k miles and still going strong.
My first car/truck was this truck. i painted it all white, slammed it to the ground, bought some saw blade rims with low pro's and 5% tint. On the inside some acura bucket seats, built a center console and fit two 8" cerwin vegas on a punch 150 connected to an alpine deck. Hurst shifter knob and momo wheel finished it off. I didnt have much money to make it fast but cleaned up the engine, added a weber carb with k&N air filter; my buddy made some make shift headers for it which dumped into dual exhaust tips. Made a bed cover out of plywood, foam, black vinyl, and a stapler, lol. One day i actually dragged one of the speedbumps at school about 50 feet with it. My friends laughingly called it the shark. lol. it was slow as shit but so much fun.
