Hi Silvy, this was such a lovely video! I love the full face of one brand videos because they give such a great look into the brands and their headliner products. I’ve got a question about the neutrals eyeshadow palette. I was recently gifted the Danessa Myricks Lightwork VI and was wondering if you had any suggestions for a matte neutrals palette that I could get to complement the shimmery and shifty shades in LW VI? There are so many options and I’d appreciate if you have any input ❤ thank you! (Btw we are skin twins and I bought the Patrick Ta blush in She’s Blushing after seeing it in several of your videos!)
Thank you for the encouragement! I really appreciate you took the time to write this out. I would absolutely recommend the Patrick Ta Matte Neutrals palette. It’s got mattes and cools and his mattes are some of the best formulas I’ve ever used. Makeup by Mario has also got his matte palettes. One is warmer and one is more neutral/cool. You might love the warmer one more since we are “skin twins” 🥰 Aw yes She’s Blushing is just flawless.

Los corrector de nxy se separaba porque es base agua y la base de estee lauder es silicona. Tienes que buscar un concealer silicone para que combiné bien.

@@bellat4484 I really enjoyed the Ordinary retinols when I began. I started with the lower percentage. If you don’t like the oily squalane feel, Naturium’s retinol or retinol complex serum would be a good place to start.
I learned the reason why I used tot think no lipstick looked good on me is because I didn’t have a defined lip contour. So I use a darker brown to contour the lips first for definition and then I can wear a lot of lipsticks. @@husnahussain8796 I hope you like it! I love mine when I’m not summer tanned! In this video I’m wearing Charlotte tilbury pillow talk medium lipstick with a deep brown liner as contour and NYX lip liner in all natural to fill the lips
Babe! We’re skin shade twins so happy to see someone here to get reviews from. Have you tried the Patrick Ta She’s So LA? It’s similar to those two you have!
@@JRSPARTY Yay! I love finding skin shade twins 😭 I haven’t tried She’s so LA but I love a good bronzy beigy blush and have it on my wishlist. Have you tried it?
Hi, this isn’t related to the Patrick Ta foundation. However I was looking at your foundation list in the description and I’m also 3W1.5 in the Estée Lauder double wear. But when looking up your shade for the L’Oréal infallible fresh wear foundation I can’t seem to find that shade anywhere for U.K. sites, is it possible you can please update us with the shade you are because I’m thinking of giving it a try but getting the shade you use
@@afsanabegum645 That’s so strange , the shade names in UK are so different, and looks like you might have less shades. I think 260 Golden Sun or 250 Radiant Sand might be what I’d go for over there. Swatch both on your wrists and compare.
$81 Canadian for that foundation? Who could afford moisturizer to put on before that foundation? 😅 😅 Wow. 👀 For that price, Patrick would need to apply it to my face himself. 😊😅

Thank you for the thoughtful review. I appreciate the work that you put in your videos. Regarding your question on what I would like to see next, if I may request reviews on comfortable, long wearing, lipsticks? I am looking for an “everyday” red lipstick, and I have a skin tone close to yours. Reds can be tricky… sometimes they are too orange, or too blue, or too pink….
@@maya.3544 Thank you for the feedback. I can definitely do a video touching on reds for our skin tones. Usually you want to go with a blue undertone that is deep enough that you can wear it in a soft amount and it still shows well. Using a blue red lipliner instead of lipstick is also a great way to wear red. The blue reds are universally flattering.
Thank you, I look forward to your next review/tutorial. Again I appreciate your time since I am sure that it must be difficult to make RU-vid content and have a full time job as a makeup artist.
@@foziayasmeen3967 I usually only set T-zone and a little bit under the cheek hollows to further accentuate the contour. I have very dry skin so I can do it this way.
Thank you so much for this comparison! Would I be correct in saying that She’s Sculpted offers more of a neutral to cool contoured effect and She’s Bronzed is more of a warm-tone bronzed effect?
I have oily skin and iam thinking of using the cream correcting concealer instead of the liquid but iam not quite sure what do you suggest? For oily skin
You are so gorgeous! Do u think estee lauder is satin finish or is it so matte that my face would cake up or look dead? Or do u think Nars radiant longwear foundation would be better for oily skin in humid ,hot weather?
They are both amazing for oily skin and humid hot weather, long wearing. Estée Lauder would be fool proof for oil control. Estée Lauder is definitely a matte finish but not a dry looking matte . If you’re oily it should be no problem but always prep skin by exfoliating off any flaky or dead skin and then hydrating with a moisturizer appropriate for your skin type.
Thank you 💕 Lip combo: Liner to fill lips: Milani in All Natural Liner to outline lips: NYX in Brown Lipstick: MAC matte in Whirl Dusting of blush on top to set: MAC Mineralize blush in Sweet Enough
@A2L124 if you apply straight on eyeshadow primer or unset concealer, it will last. Shadows don’t wear off my eyes easily so they last for me. If your shadows wear off or you have oily lids, use a primer or put down a thin line of cream or gel liner underneath with an angle brush using the same method. This method is for quick and fuss free application.
Hi Silvy, I'm an Indian girl with medium warm skin tone. Can you help me select a Patrick Ta blush please? I use Dior Forever foundation in 3W. Im going nuts trying to figure a shade on my own.
@@shyamalisingh7729 I would start with She’s Blushing for the perfect neutral blush undertone. Shes a Doll is a great pink option, and Oh She’s Different for a soft plum shade.
Thank you.. awesome comparison! Is this good for more mature skin as well? (Some fine lines around the eyes) a little dry .. Would I need to wear primer under this? Thanks so much 😊
Hi, thank you! Which of these two foundations are you asking about? I do find they both work for mature skin. They sit smoothly and don’t settle into fine lines. If you’re dry, prep skin with a rich or very hydrating moisturizer, you don’t need extra primers.
