Looks like you've got a leak somewhere or your chrono is off. Other reviewers are getting much better velocities and accuracy than you with the same rifle and pellets.
I got a question what would you do with that rifle it doesn't have the power to deer hunt with it's way too big to squirrel hunt with so what would you do with it and if you don't coyote hunt I just don't know what you do with it don't know what you would do with it
Got the 22. said it would push at 18 grain pellet at 775. Completely dialed all the way out straight out-of-the-box. Wouldn't shoot an 18 grain pellet more than 611. Not what it boasted. Totally disappointed. 💯👎
Nice work Angie! From the bench some speed shooters have the cocking handle on the opposite side with a bipod and a rear bag. They never have to regrip or remove their finger from the trigger. Maybe you can do that with the Reign and see how it works?
Hey there. It depends. If there's a change to the POI due to clipping, then the accuracy will be terrible. If the POI shift is a side effect of how the air may get stripped off, and the shift is consistent, then it may be fine. Ideally, you don't want to see any change in POI. Cheers MA
Sweet shooting Rick, I hope the new Avenge X is even more accurate and a better 100 yard air rifle in one of the configurations! Being a south paw, that's what I'm waiting for next. I know Tyler will provide you with an early version for you to test. Or are you already?
Going to have to do a complete teardown and do all the mods then I think be a real monster right now the accuracy is disappointing not really there and mushy trigger😊 but I buy the cheaper rifles and when I'm done they shoot right along a few thousand dollar gun and that's the fun of air gun shooting🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Just watched a video before this of a guy shooting the .25 version and was slinging 26 grain fx slugs at 945 fps which is crazy seeing these results but thanks for the through video!
A sumo mod will not degrade your groups, it may even tighten them up. I backed off the HS all the way and now get 3 mags (36 shots) with an average fps of 927 and spread of less than 26 fps. Love this rifle.
No offense to anyone but after all the problems I've had with my Cattleman guns I'm done with guns made in Turkey !! I'd rather buy a Chinese made air gun !
I own this rifle. They had some troubles with them when they first came out. I’m actually on my third rifle, Crosman/Benjamin has great customer service and replaced mine. This is a tac driver at 35 yards. I use it in my backyard to defend my garden, squirrel’s in my sweet corn. It isn’t regulated and my sweet spot is 2,800 psi to about 1,700 psi. This gives me about 30 or so reliable shots. All rifles are different and as I’ve said I’ve had three. Very nice Turkish walnut stocks! This is a excellent training tool. It can be decocked and the safety works loaded and unloaded. Over all I’m happy with the air rifle after they worked out the bugs. My only wish is that I’d pay $100 more if they would move production to the USA. Once a ‘bug’ was noticed they could be fixed much sooner. Cheaper labor means doesn’t better product. Like I said this is my third rife so this will be my last from Turkey. I’ll willingly pay twice the amount for a American product and I have done so. I’m not bashing the accuracy of this rifle. It is the tac driver. It is a great teaching tool. Benjamin has great customer service. And troubleshooting is always a problem. I love my Country and know we can do better and compete.
Great to see you,, I kinda lost track of you and yours, Sorry for that. My health condition has kept me off the range. Before I had to give it up I was shooting a Red Wolf. Loved the gun. I started sizing all my pellets and got a step up in accuracy in all my airguns. I use a hand sizer and you could feel the difference in force to run the pellet through the sizer. I found more consistency on target and velocity. My policy is to size all pellets. I had one exception, Nealson slugs, they went through the sizer consistently with little pressure and were consistent in velocity. I never got a chance to test them beyond 25 yards. I also thought it is neat that the Gauntlet is an entery $ cost rifle that is doing so well. I hope you try a sizer and video your results. Great video, good work.
