I just used this and it helped a bunch! I tried messing with adding two to three recipes together to get a full shopping list, but ChatGPTs math was off. It might have been my prompt, but def will double check it's numbers next time.
It’s also illegal to sell heroin crack and cocain but the drug dealers still do it. The system makes no sense people just trying to make a honest living and the government makes it impossible for people to succeed. Screw them ima trap out these hot dishes wether they like it or not send me to jail idgas
When it comes to location and storage, and all you have is the home you live, is that good enough for the FDA ? Specially if, for example, my goal is to buy bulk from Mountain Rose, make certain dried leaves mixture and sell them, how much and/or type of space would I need? Nonetheless, thank you so much for your video!

I've just started a cotton candy concession business. There are other important costs to consider for you to be able to sell anything. The most important for festivals and farmers markets are a table and a GOOD canopy that won't rip in the first gust of wind. Everyone needs to do their research, but those costs should be factored in, too. :)
Just come to Tallahassee FL, it’s the Wild West, there are easily 100+ food trailers and trucks around town that probably don’t meet half of these requirements 😂
This video has increased my depression by +100 because of all the government interference... I mean "requirements" that i will need to pay for just to make hot sauce.
I'm looking into selling my current business and get into the food business, this was very helpful! From what I've gathered there are a lot of hoops to jump through when it comes to food prep and what can be cooked on site though.
if your in a commercial kitchen and or a facility doing this commercially your facility needs to be registered with FDA they don't approve food businesses this is local permits and licenses in the city or county level
Hi Damien, I hope you read old video comments and can help me with my question. I want to start small home business of packing big brand cheeses into clear plastic cups (8-9oz) and sell as a quick snack. I am in PA, can you please guide me with regulations for this type of business? Thank you for everything you do!
Great to see some content on UK rules and regulations. I dont think we are very well served with videos here. Wish someone would be as thorough as you are about US businesses. Thank you for this video.
I’m going to tell you right now that getting through all the state health restrictions, requirements, and licensing is going to be the toughest part. In most states you cannot start out making it in your kitchen. In Georgia where I live you have to have a separate kitchen from your regular kitchen or make it in a government approved kitchen. I sometimes think that these laws purposely are designed to drown average people who want to be entrepreneurs in government red tape to protect the large corporations and designed by the ruling class to keep average people down. There should be exceptions for people who are starting from the ground up and sell less than 100 cases a month. Applying the same rules to small cottage industry bbq sauce startups as they do to large corporations is wrong and unjust.

Hello I would really love your help, I just got brand registry on Amazon now I want to sell cookies I make my self and sell them on Amazon I listen to your video and I think Florida may be the exception cause I was reading the food and cottage law and it says starting in 2021, they may deliver their products by mail order, including across state lines, and there’s no permit or inspection needed as long as I’m selling Shelf-Stable Foods cookies are on the list so in your opinion can I sell my cookies on Amazon ? Thank you !
yes youc an I have an amazion business for my bakery for 10 years I have been on Amazon selling cookies all over the U.S. they dont need to be shelf stable BUT it helps
I’m not sure where you live but I’m in Oklahoma. The only bulk trail mix available is at least $7 a pound. Prepackaged in the store is $10 for half a pound. So I don’t think your pricing and profit margin is accurate.
