I’ve got a lot more free time now, so I’ll definitely be uploading more frequently! I’ll try to get a new video up every week or so we’ll see how that goes lmao
Anytime I have the opportunity to, I always skip the story in games. How did you find the courage to endure Wuthering Waves' super slow and boring opening chapter?
People can say what they want about genshin but they do have a track record for making games with great music, characters and story which is more than half the battle for an rpg. I don't think these things are as easily replicable as game mechanics that might look and feel similar. Takes real talent to right a compelling story that can may people actually feel something. Seen a lot of people break down in tears playing honkai 3rd impact for instance. I don't think its easily replicable unless wuthering have some really good talented writers. Good story often gets overlooked in games now days, and I think they are integral to a good rpg.
I also thought it would flop, but surprisingly It exceeded my expectations it got me hooked up right from the start after I saw the female mc and I felt like I was in an anime, I think it exceeded everyone's expectations imo.
for the story i didn't spoil me much but i agree i preferred it way more for crownless part, like the fact that he just spawned and proceed to crownling everyone(bad joke) and the fact that when they saw us absorbing his echo chixia and bazhi was on their guard this felt so real apparently they removed the beating because cn didn't like their waifu get beat but sad that they removed the suspicion from the other
they removed the suspicion as it made 0 logical sense seeing how 1 yangyang trusted rover meaning its unrealistic her friends wouldnt and 2 the rover was written to be special and very important which is why both sides try to get rover to be on their side so it wouldnt make sense being suspicious of a special person that is very important to both sides when you see what they can do as well you already know they are extremely important sooooooo. as for the beating getting removed that is not cns doing that simply is a story rewrite doing in which when that happens some things will inevitably get changed to fit the story
@@MrBentalton777 because someone is important and their friend is walking with him it doesnt make sens to be suspicious while he just absorbed a monster echo INTO HIS BODY not even his "pokeball"? it's just being naive i dont know how much they changed the story but they are not even supposed to know that he is important at this part, they just met
@@david_ace they changed 90% of the story also it's more than simply being important as when anyone in a game or show is special enough for people to try and use them for their own ends it's because they have powers and are really strong. Also it's more than just walking yanyang trusted rovers again makes 0 sense for her friend to randomly pull a gun on them. Also even in that version of the story they still knew rover was important....... why else would they be there waiting for rover to wake up and instantly wanting to take them to their leader
3:21 - Actually, it seems like the low drop rates have been adressed as well!... Kind of. At least according to people who played the more recent builds on private servers, they have added a food item that boosts the echo drop rate by 50% and lasts for 20 minutes. (I think. I'm not 100% sure about the values.) Of course, I'd rathee they straight up boost the drop rates themselves, but... We will see. Also, looks like the boss respawn time has been reduced from 5 to 3 minutes. So... I think all issues brought up to the community have now been adressed? Although we still have to wait and see how the official release we play out, and if the changes have been enough. Either way, given that they are clearly listening to the playerbase, we might see further improvements down the line.
For me personally, if the story, world, system (battle and not), and characters hold, I'll weather it, if you will. If it turned out unfortunate, I'm sure I'd be disappointed, because I do have feelings, but, hey, it's not the end of the world, unless it is.
It's sad for Kuro cause everyone is making these videos picking apart gameplay that hasn't even released yet Then you have these dumbasses claiming it'll be a genshin killer without having even played it once. And with those expectations you're bound to underperform
0:42 - 42 seconds in and I'm dead already😭😂 Yup, i agree Kuro should definitely utilise their greatest weapon. It'll give them a huge advantage And I really really hope that those whose feedback they listen to aren't the ones that want the game to burn
I feel like they'll be fine. Interest might drop after first 3 weeks but Wuwa will have a dedicated playerbase by then. As long as they make more money than they put in, its a success. Also amazing video
Very true, they don't need to reach the height of Hoyo's 2 flagship sales, they just need enough money to keep the game runnin and keep the loyal fanbase intact
@@Suc-Chii It's pretty stable I believe their only downside is the optimization of the graphics, a lot potato PC and mobile users area already turning down the game because of it's FPS drops
I'd say unless they really fumble things its almost guaranteed to be a success. How much of a success is what waits to be seen but if even massively hated games like ToF are seemingly profitable, I have no doubt WuWa will be too
@@kri1ndawn440 May I ask where do you get your sauce for ToF's financial profit? This is a genuine question, by the way. I played ToF too but everything was too clunky and I eventually left.
@@MagisterialVoyager there was a post using the actual studio earnings reported to investors, not sensortower in which during the last year they made around 12mill a month which should be enough to keep the lights on
TO SUCCEED WITHERING WAVES NEED: 1- A real coop/multiplayer experience. 2- Real end game 3-Game Modes Like: Instance dungeons, Raids 4- Meaning to keep playing like collecting rare items , cosmetics etc to show off to your friends
They just need follow genshin's update schedule and make interesting events Lets be honest. Endgame bullahit always boring arter some time. We need fresh experience time to time. Ofc release will be fun but what after?
@@ProkerKusaka Hoyoverse is times bigger than Kuro's studio. And even then to keep up Genshin's update schedule they'd also have to only release 5% of the game and then give a little more story every so often to keep the cash grab running for years
