My channel focuses on my general life and also my trade as a bricklayer. Im a big fan of the great outdoors including wild camping and Van-life stuff. I also like to make home brew and blow the froth off a couple whenever i get the chance . Absolutely massive animal lover so i love to spend time with my dog and I’m also a Pescatarian…..cheers
Nice job, how have you got on with them since? +1 to double up the nuts if you haven’t got any ny-loc locking nuts You might stop the wobble with a few triangles of ply or osb screwed over the joints to brace them. I’ve made a few different versions to find one that works for me. I might have to make and upload a video one day if I get the time. Hope the back is feeling better 👍
@@theresmortarlife8527 I came off the hod in 1975 and became a trowel through hard graft and determination . When I was hoddie we did what we were told and never questioned the brickies . 👍
@@johnbowkett80 I really respect the old ways to be honest John. After years of dead end jobs when I left school, I had my first taste of construction at age of 25 and loved it ever since, I’m now 45 but always learning 👍🏻
@@theresmortarlife8527 I'm still laying at 66 . Can't help it . The youngsters can't believe how I keep up with em . Keeps me fit and trim and the money always helps . Wish you all the best mate ....Earn good money while you can , it won't always be this good . 👍👍👍👍👍
@@johnbowkett80 fair play 66 going strong kids should look up to you, we been offered 780 a thousand on box houses prices are getting super great 👍🏻🤝🏻
Thanks for the kind words. I do like to ramble on sometimes…lol I wish I was in a position to take on apprentices to be honest. Maybe if my business takes off then that’s something I’d definitely look at in the future 👍🏻
Hiya Mainly because people are not reading the other comments for the reasons why before their own commenting. Saves me keep on replying back to nasty comments. Thanks
I've been t Glastonbury many time, but it's now too big and too many "bucket-listers" and middle class vloggers. Tried a smaller festival a couple of times but a bit too young and pop/chart focussed. But I think this might be the perfect solution for me and my 50+ mates, it looks brilliant. Just the right type of people and artists for me. Thanks for the great video, I'm on the mailing list for next year.
Really is a fantastic festival. So relaxed and chilled with a friendly vibe. Also very clean and with the band line up it’s very much suited to us middle aged folk..lol. It was tricky doing the video as it flagged up loads of copyright laws so I couldn’t do it justice
Yeah, I was a bit dubious about it when it was lifted again to be honest with you. Luckily I don’t think I’ll be going back up there. That’s what happens when you cut corners rather than get the proper lads in
@@theresmortarlife8527 yeah it’s not safe at all and bet it wobbles like a treat! Yep people will do anything to save a few quid nowadays even if safety goes out the window
It was 👍🏻 But I’ve quickly learnt that recording music festivals is tricky due to mainly copyright laws and it gets in the way when your try to drink beer 🍻
Thanks Bill It’s a fantastic tool and so powerful for a small machine. Dewalt in the uk always have so many good cases available with their products which I think is important as I like to look after my tools. The brand i always go to 👍🏻
Another great video from a fellow yam yam Wolverhampton guy. Nothing wrong with your work from what I can see. I've watched quite a few brickies on RU-vid 👍
@@theresmortarlife8527 Great a local lad. Hopefully we won't see any fake weep vents :-) I watch a couple of professional staggers videos. Your block work seems to be as straight as a arrow. Keep up the good work👍
@@waynenixon729 Thanks Wayne… much appreciated. I always say that if the day ever comes and I can’t take pride in my work then I don’t want to do the job anymore.
