I hope everyone is enjoying this channel. I have been collecting old games for a while now and I am in the process of digitizing everything. I thought it would be fun to throw some stuff on here. I have a ton of hockey, football, baseball, and some basketball games (and even a ton of old wrestling stuff too). Enjoy, and if you're interested in a list, email me. pdsports@yahoo.com
The Cardinals were supposed to challenge for the division in 1985. Hank Strams opening analysis for the game was very telling for what would end up being an awful season for the Cardinals. The Cardinals are possibly over confident and look very nonchalant. It looks like they let the season before go to there heads.
My birthday and the Panthers gave me a great present, 28 years later history repeated itself and the Panthers gave me another great birthday present. However, in 2024 they sealed the deal!!!
Pens coach Badger Bob Johnson can be seen being interviewed early in the video. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor the following autumn and died soon there after. He was replaced by Scotty Bowman behind the Penguin bench.
If you enjoyed the intro song to this program, we’d like you to no longer participate in anything of importance for the for seeable future…please and thank you.
The 1st of 7 straight wins for the Pats. The 86 Patriots looked alot like the 85 Pats. Both teams were 3-3 before going on a run. The 86 Patriots were 10-3 at one point and after a Hail Mary win at the Rams you got the feeling that not only were these Patriots legit super bowl contenders in 86 but were going to be a force in the AFC in the late 80's. But unfortunately 2 home losses to the Bengals and Niners put them at 10-5. They did have a huge win on Monday night vs the Dolphins to go 11-5. Just like 85. They had a bye and were actually beating Denver 17-13 until the last play of the 3rd when Elway had a free play and threw a 50 yard TD. The Pats couldn't recover and lost 22-17. By 87 they were 8-7. 88 9-7 and by the time 1990 hit they were 1-15.
55:35 If only Grady Sizemore had been able to stay healthy... Also, 2 years later, Al Palawski was in for Matt Underwood at one point, and the Grandyman stole a walk-off homer from Grady Sizemore.
Lanny Frattare should be in the Hall of Fame broadcaster wing. He was a classic, plagued by bad teams. He’s a class act. A HUGE part of my childhood. We had one TV. My dad didn’t like baseball so I listened to Bucco games in the radio. I absolutely loved when Lanny was on the radio side. Later in life I often listened instead of watching. Thanks Lanny!
I remember watching the finish of this game in disbelief. I'll never forget it. My visits to Jacksonville have been far less exciting than the way this went.
