@willthomas8081 it's perfect. Depending on how cold it gets. The ground would freeze and you might have to give it a little tap in spring but thats it. I just sold the place and they were sturdy as hell!
@mode.or.culture there were a number of reasons. A major one was the taxes. Second, bigger house means bigger problems. Also I didn't like my kids growing up in a house like that.
@dragonfisher3332 no, a lot have said that. But the price doesn't look like ego. Thats for sure! I'm loving the color scheme but the kicker is their other tools for the X6 line the battery is compatible with. I'm going to do a review on them as well. I had to wait a full season of using these products before i made this video. I owned ego products. They are neck and neck with performance but they kill ego with pricing!
As kids we went down to the conveyor factory in town and got used rollers and modded our own mowers. We charged an extra $5 for strips when we cut neighbours lawns. Man did they like that. We couldn't keep up with the demand back then.
No. I elected to get the 12ah battery because I'm that type of person! I did my whole property (just under 19,000 sq ft) and I still had a half charge. Which means the 6ah would have completed the job. The combo with 6ah, rapid charger, and machine is $449 on sale. And when you enter their site you can get 15%off that!
Im guessing this is a single blade mower? If so thats too bad, either way it would be nice to know. Definitely should have let your grass grow a few more days to show off the battery's runtime potential... it looked like you took almost nothing off... which is definitely not how most people will end up using it. Gotta take at least 2inches off imo to show any meaningful performance if you're bragging about square footage.

It is a single blade but there is most likley a double in the works. Its tough for me to let my grass grow that long
Watch this thing mow 18 inch grass on one of my subscribe lawns. Absolutely crushes it! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wPwaaMLHnI4.htmlsi=ZvwiKxxCCF_xVBxL
I wish somebody would do a review on an electric mower where they actually mow a lawn with some actual grass. You are barely cutting a quarter inch which isn't even hardly enough to even work anymore where I come from. We take at least an inch to 2 in a lot of the grass is down flat and electric mowers do not have the lift to pick it up and do a quality job
You are to cut 1/3 of the blade off. Watch my video where I use this same mower to cut 18 inches of grass down to 4 inches at a subscribers house. My personal lawn I don't let it get that tall.
@kennycooperkc for sure. My wife hasn't had an issue and she is probably smaller than your 9 year old. I know that would be one persons complaint and it's not even a real one.
I'm loving it. Been waiting till after a season of use to give a review. I like this better than my toro and ego. The cost is way less than the competition.
This model is almost identical to my EGO, interesting. Same controls, same features. The only thing missing is the handle to collapse the handles. Edit: also the little control panel is different
What was the cost on the ego? They constantly have deals on them because they are a new company. They have it for 549 on amazon with a 6amp and rapid charger. Pretty sweet deal.
@@TheNeighborDominator Agreed, yea if they both sell for ~$500ish it is a sweet deal with either. Got EGO at Lowes for $500 even (battery + charger included). More choices for the consumer the better
Good vid.. It just kept reminding me of an Ego.. How many blades comes with and its a double blade?.. That was funny when you dispose of the ego.. did you?.. I'll take the batteries jajajaja..
It is a single blade. This is their first time making a batterycmower and its a beast. I'm willing to bed the double blade is in the works. I didn't throw it away lol. I am donating it though!
So how did u get the KBG seed to survive/compete with the fast growing rye? I keep hearing that it can't be done. Would love to overseed some KBG into my existing TTF lawn but have been talked out of it by youtube
To be honest I've just been overseeding with kbg for two years. The Lawn ended up being really thick. I regret going with prg. I think a mix is perfect
Hi. Thanks for the video. I got a simpson pressure washer 3.5 GPM 4000 PSI with GX270. Which size of surface cleaner should I use (buy) 16, 18, 20 inch ? Thanks
I used a 3200 psi 2.5 gpm (gas Husqvarna) with the surface cleaner I used in the video. Battery powered is trash and will not give you the cleaning power. With what you have, i bet you could run any of those sizes with no problems at all. I am not a professional pressure washer guy but yours is a lot stronger than what I was using and I was melting the grime off the cement!
Yes. I didn't want to have to cut any wood. All I had was a drill so I wanted a no cut project that anyone could do. My buddy ended up having a saw in his truck so we made a step but that wasn't in the plans.
@cstorer36 i have since moved from that location. But while there i seen very little grub activity . I put down 2 applications. But sure if this is enough to see ultimate results.
Your daughter is a prize! Thanks for the special deck presentation; I will now build a deck beginning in November when it's cool. Very nice, all good, live long and prosper. Eddie Evans
Are you sure this is not a scam? This is awfully similar to the Heisenberg 1H Pro lawnmower scam.. It's on kickstarter, aggressive advertising, incredible low price, already have one lawnmower on the market, not much info about the company, almost no likes anywhere and so on.. Feels very scammy to me. This could also harm your RU-vid channel, so beware which companies you make reviews for.
To be honest, they reached out to me and the machine is still laying down stripes. There was another comment here the subscriber found them and they have other products. I know you can find them on amazon and have other mowers. I don't know how scams like that work but the machine came professionally packaged and they have an app for the machine that works pretty good. What would the scam be? Pay them and get no product? They have other mowers thats all I know.
@@TheNeighborDominator - Yes they have one other mower on the market, just like the Heisenberg company did. They earned alot of money on kickstarter, but no one ever received any product in the end. I'm not saying this is 100% a scam, I'm just saying the similarities are overwhelming and should be considered, there is alot of information missing. The videos of them testing the mower is also missing alot of key parts.
@@MrMeierRecordz damn that is not good. Scary actually. I will email them and try to figure it out. But what is to stop a scammer from lieing? That is so shitty companies do this
@@TheNeighborDominator I just received this from Kickstarter: Hello, This is a message from Kickstarter’s Trust and Safety team. We're writing to inform you that a project you backed, ANTHBOT Genie: Plug-and-Play Smart Robot Lawn Mower, is the subject of an intellectual property dispute. The project has been removed from public view pending dispute resolution.
I have the same whacker that's new and it barely cuts the same kind of weed you were mowing down (even upgraded to .9 line). Guess CA weeds are built tougher then wherever you are at
Hey brother when's does the sells start do you know around what month also where are u from I wonder if Texas will have any sales like this on fertilizer and lawn products also do the spreaders go on sale too or just the seasonal stuff? Thanks
Yes I sure did! We will be putting in the work with this one. We are upgrading from 5500 square feet to just shy of 19,000 square feet! All kinds of landscaping, permanent putting green, beautiful workshop, the list goes on! I put alot of love into the last one but this is my forever home. We are going to the 9's
Same with robot vacuums. Some are cheap junk, and some are expensive and sophisticated. Unfortunately, the low information public generally purchase the cheap junk and then complains about the entire robot market. It's not rocket science. Gas powered mowers have been around for decades. They are designed the way they are designed for a specific reason. For example, the blade cuts at or beyond the width of the wheels so as to not leave the grass in the tracks uncut. Also, the lawnmower blade creates a vacuum thus lifting the grass to be cut. Razor blades and narrow cutting width as just foolish engineering mistakes made by high school robotic kids creating new inventions.
The daughter proceeds to help out by swinging in the swing while overseeing the project😂. Great video! Thanks for making and posting this! You did a great job...saved a ton of $$ and learned more through doing it yourself than beforehand. I do DIY projects in and around our home all the time (I have built a Murphy bed/a shed/replaced bad flooring with luxury vinyl plank flooring/ worked with electrical for the first time/created a theater room, and built a theater seat riser). I believe being a DIY'er in your home is one of the blessings and advantages of homeownership (unless you want to fork out more $$ than is usually necessary most of the time). I am currently researching "building a sound foundation for anchoring a 12 x 16-foot gazebo". I liked and subscribed.
@DDC365 she is my super! Lol. Thank you! I really appreciate it. I love doing stuff like this around the house myself. It's more rewarding. Plus i can tell everyone while we are standing in it..."you know i built this"🤣
