They (Justin) really just stole JC's career out from underneath him. The band in general deserved way better than this. JC should have a career on the same level as JT right now.

Justin & Britney were mediocre singers with great production. JC & Christina- amazing singers with unsupported labels and jealous ppl behind the scenes. Cause up until their last album JC was the front man, and somewhere along the process when Brit and Justin started dating that’s when the nail hit the coffin.
It's not a new thing. From the Rolling Stones to Springsteen to Billy Joel to Harry Styles, if artists have their labels' support, they are given room to develop, fail, AND flourish. This was not the case for JC.
I think it was the hair. Also vocals don’t count as far as success, but more that It factor. Each group has the one star over everyone else. Beyoncé, Justin, Nicole scherzinger, Diana Ross, etc. Christina can sing circles around Britney but Britney has the bigger career and always has.
Ima just go ahead and say that the real reason why he had a hard time is because he wasn’t willing to sell out…. Someone or some people was out to make sure he didn’t get on Justin’s level on purpose.😒
I'm having a hard time understanding how Justin was qualified to do an "urban" album but JC had to go another route. The truth in that is JC would have out did Justin if he did a more urban album. JC was good enough to sing feeling his timbs, baggy jeans and his thug appeal but no no he can't do anything urban album. Sabotage indeed!

I still get emotional when I think about how Justin did all this shady stuff and was considered America's sweetheart. He is a 2-faced meanie, and its a shame it took decades for the truth to come out.
I didn't know he had a solo album till watching this a couple of days ago. I found a copy of his cd on Amazon. Got it in the mail today. Will listen when I get home. And yes I still buy CD's

Honestly JC should do more acting. I saw two movies he was in and he was good in them. If he honed more in on it I think he’d be great. Also I couldn’t help but laugh at the she’s like the wind clip cause I know the context of the scene/movie. But he was also the best part of the movie. If he doesn’t do music, I think he should really get into acting.
As a Gen Xer who just listened to Britney’s entire audiobook, I refuse to pick sides. I can honestly say that I’ve been lucky enough to see *NSYNC, Britney, Justin, and Janet multiple times and I always have been and always will be fans of all of them. That being said, the first time I heard ‘Better Place’ 3 weeks ago, it was JC’s voice that gave me goosebumps and made me tear up. We do have JT to thank for including the group on the song (he could’ve done it solo as he’s done in the past) but again, I’m a fan of all of the artists that I’ve previously mentioned. I encourage all fans of JC/*NSYNC to revisit “Cry For You- Mickey Mouse Club “ cuz all 4 of those guys can siiiing 🎶 🎶 💖

Is a more talented musician but as an entertainer, is an incomplete package compared to Justin (because an ideal entertainer is a jack of all trades, master of all). 2: As a teenage fan consuming their content, you won’t realize that as an artist, if the label doesn’t have your back (especially at that time), you’re done. And the record label for various reasons (bad management, foolish business decisions, lack of vision, fears of overlapping competition with other artists, etc.) had Justin back and didn’t have JC’s back. And the record company is of the mindset of putting all their eggs on their one megastar basket rather than seeing their smaller artist (e.g: JC) may not be a potential mega superstar cash cow but can still be a money generating investment.

I love jc he did bring it out more with his voice. I loved his cd. Love jc and Chris they are my favorite both of their voices stood out to me more. I feel and felt every time I listen to his cd and **NSYNC albums I malt every time with both vocals hit I hear Chris’s voice and malt and when jc’s come I just fall and malt. My eyes roll in the back of my head like omg!! Love you Cj and Chris. Love you all guys. They did Cj wrong and dirty very dirty and that was and is wrong. Any thing they do I will always love. I love his cd and songs. Anything he does. I miss his long hair 😅
Regardless of all the corporate bs they told JC, JUSTIN should have been the one to tell his band mates he wasn't returning. The guys could have continued without him and been fine. Now, JCs past w Britney is in the news and that will affect NSync JUST AS they are talking about a reunion. I've always felt Justin was self-centered.
That man can SING! His record label purposely sabotaged him. Sad. He should have gone independent or signed to another label who would have supported him.
I wonder if at this point he can differenciate between the label/greedy non-musicians and the fans who didn't "refuse to buy" or who "weren't interested", but who waited and got confused or waited and never got the album we wanted from him. Honestly, can't he just go independent? We don't care about the pernicious label, we want the freaking songs we never got.
It's unfortunate that JC didn't get the support he needed for his solo career, he was the best vocalist of the Nsync, don't get me wrong, Justin was good too, but his charisma made him an easier artist to promote, but JC had an incredible vocal talent , he could have gotten a pretty good career, without being a competition between him and Justin. Like One direction, Harry Styles is the biggest star out of the group, but the others were able to put out some hit songs too.
I know it's blasphemous to say among other JC fans, but I hated Schizophrenic. I tried to give it another listen last month thinking perhaps I just wasn't ready for it at 14 or however old I was when I rushed out and bought it on release day. Nope. Still isn't for me. With that said, JC's voice is the best of any boy-bander from the late 90s-early oughts, and he should have had another chance as well as support from the label. (BoysIIMen are the only exception in my eyes.) He had the charisma, personality, and talent to be a solo star, and I was ready for it. I will never stop being angry that I didn't get R&B/Ballad JC vocals for the last 20 years.
NSync could have continued as a quartet. and the label should have reigned in schizophrenic and have JC find his style. or at least release the rock/punk songs and r&b songs as two EPs
