Are you insane??? German made many mistakes - that's for sure -, but he was held accountable for his mistakes and he DID make amends. He DID compensate for his mistakes, and he became a good father by the end of the show. German was just a deeply hurt man who was grieving and had the weight of raising a five year old all by himself while still having to process his grief. In his confrontation with Antonio, you can clearly see he wasn't past his grief and still had a lot of work to do to live in good terms with it. I truly can't belive one would say he is the *villain*. If there was only the first season, maybe it would be arguable, but I still wouldn't agree.
