Regarding the first bit of the video, when the learner went out of the driving test after the stop sign, where does it say that is it now a 40mph road? I keep checking the video but I don't see any sign that tells a specific speed limit.
Hi, Thanks for watching the videos & thank you for the question. The sign has been taken down so unfortunately learners are just expected to know, a reminder sign is not far from the exit.
Hi, The parking bays used by learners do not line up with the bays opposite. Also not all the bays are the same size so pick wisely. Thanks for the question
Hi, this learner passed the test however they did pick up a progress appropriate speed minor which is when they drive too slow for the situation. But it wasn't the level of a fail
Hi Megmay thanks for the question and your right if the learner had stopped there then it would be too far away from the stop line, but having spoken to the learner it was actually the examiner asking them to stop as the sat-nav they were using needed the examiners attention ( they had to click start button on the screen).
Hi, to the best of my knowledge no Redhill driving test route currently goes into reigate, this route ventured out into woodhatch (near the old test centre) hope that answers your question. Thanks
The shell roundabout whose sign shows at 14:50 to 14:53, What is it called? Am trying to find it on streetview. How many exits does it have? where does the first exit go to?
Hi, not sure what you mean by the road sign being called something else.... but this roundabout has 3 exits, the 1st exit from this direction your referring to will take you towards the leisure centre. if you want more information about the exits for this roundabout there is a specific videos for this roundabout on the channel.
Seems kinda harsh! Have you got any other recent(ish) Crawley tests you could upload?! I love to watch these as someone who will soon to be learning to drive again after quitting 15 years ago!
Hi P K Fantastic news on passing 1st time and with only 3 minors is a very good drive. I hope you keep up that standard and also don't forget to recommend these videos to others you know taking their driving test in Redhill.
At the roundabout at 9:20 if we followed the same route as the video would you need a right signal on before changing to a left one for the exit? Or would it be no signal and then left indicator before you begin to merge over
Hi Megan, I don't suggest a right signal for this exit however if you did put a right signal on then no harm will come of it. But yes 100% a left signal is needed for the exit movement.
@@everyroaddrivingschool1274 They are very helpful but I think a narration would make them even more useful. Thanks for taking the time to provide this. Hope to see more Redhill videos. And perhaps the Horley roundabout as well as coming out of Nutfield the steep merge into the main road (will have to get road names)
I've passed my driving test in Redhill recently and I know the roads quite well in general. Most junctions in Redhill area are not open enough for you to just turn without slowing to minimum/stopping. Easiest way is just to stop for 1-2 seconds and give it a thorough check before edging out, examiners are looking for safe driving you don't score extra points for keeping the car in constant motion.
@@meldonfernandes4842 Hi Redhill has many routes available; the shorter videos highlight common places around the area that could appear on your test route
@@everyroaddrivingschool1274 Thanks for your help i passed last week 1st of Nov 22 and got my licence on the 4th of Nov and starting a job with my licence 9th. Your videos helped me a lot and i watched them a lot i recommend them and please keep uploading more for others. I got the Horley route Iceland car park passed savers and went towards lidlle passed by the old library heading towards redhill. Made a right at Salfords church headed back to Aerodrome. Amanda was with she said it was a good drive only 2minors of change of direction looking at the mirrora when turning. Thanks & to everyone all the best of luck.
