Thank you for sharing your video. It saved me $150.00 just for a tech to come out to give me an estimate and not disclosing the labor cost! 🤬 I adjusted the closing wheel the opposite direction, and it was still doing the same problem. Gate would close, but the motor would continue to run and then the gate would open automatically and remain open. So I adjusted the opening wheel the other direction by 3-5 turns. Hit the clicker and now my gate closes without the motor running. No beeping noise, no smell of the motor over heating. I even adjusted the closing wheel perfectly to where the gate closes right before it touches the metal bracket. No more banging when closing. THANK YOU!!!
One of your remotes are glitching. Try resetting all of them and only programming one at a time. You should be able to find it that way. If it does it to all of them, it’s going to be on the main board.
Dip switch is bad. Look at the lights saying its opening. And the light saying its closing when closing. This was the issue I was having. A defective dipswitch on the board which was for right or left open.
How do you set the travel limit? I can't find any videos showing how to adjust the cams, I have an Eagle 1000. My gate opens fine but when it closes, it hits a post, bounces back, hits the post again, and then stops. Sometimes it jumps 3, 4, 5 or even more times.
Your limiter needs to be adjusted. This video show you how, kinda, not all the way. He touches it and shows you what it looks like. Pay attention to that when the gate opens and closes.
His explanation helps you fix this precise issue. I had the bc same issue, closed then bounced open. You have to make sure the gear is hitting the closed position before your gate hits the post. Keep adjusting until you get the right distance before it bounces. It will work!
