Can you imagine that your wonderful daughter, whom you love beyond words, is raped by vile people in front of you and you watch it? And you do this knowing that you have the power to free your daughter in the blink of an eye. When your daughter looks at you in terrible pain, "Why is this happening to me?" would you answer "Can you trust me even if I don't tell you why?" It is very likely that not one in a thousand parents could say that. In suffering, the question is not whether we can continue to trust God, but why we are not worthy to receive a clear answer to the cause of our suffering. In many cases, this can hurt much more than the tragedy itself.. I have to search further for the right answer.
So nurturing to those who suffer…perhaps you never heard this on suffering and knowing that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death…so Christ-like nurturing on suffering in this world - no matter what may come
Hey man, this was a great video. You never spoke too much, only said what was needed to get the point across. Word salad is the worst thing one can do when trying to teach. I look at religion from a depth psychological viewpoint, not a Christian per say, yet i still got good information from this video. Many young men are now lost, trying to assert themselves trough cruelty. Just trying to find their place in this chaotic modern world. Jesus was a true leader, our western civilization is testament to that. And he was described as firm, yet kind and merciful. The fact is that bible is one of the best philosophical books ever written, along with many other religions holy scriptures. Frankly, i dont see how the bible even contradicts with many religions such as Buddhism. I'd even go as far as to say that different cultures see God from different perspectives, but there is but one religion, one true God. God is alive in the human psyche if nothing else, that much is true. It is undeniable. Syncretism is a great choice for people today who want to have faith but cannot choose just one religion for themselves, and bible is a MUST READ for anyone interested in philosophy. I hope you will have understanding towards these people, even though many Christian sects have been very hard on ''pagans'', the ''nonbelievers''. The idea of Jesus belongs to all, in my heart i see no heretics. Thats just me though. Jesus is well alive in our hearts, our minds. There is much to learn. Thanks for the vid!
Islamic immigrant violence and extreme Muslim brothers won't take away Jesus Christ 🙏 British beloved to the God of Peace People should not come to introduce themselves to their god who enforce himself with violence to humanity.
Beautiful!! So happy to have stumbled across this. Lost My daughters youngest daughter who is also a twin 7 months ago, a month before their 2nd bday. Everyday I ask why did she have to go so soon but in trusting him an seeing this video has also helped me in so many ways. Thank you
She is very courageous and shares a beautiful story. She has a great attitude and trust in Jesus. However. I have to disagree, rape is not on the outside of your body it is very much so internal and it very much so affects your spirit.
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified Yet if any man suffet as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf 1 Peter 1:14,16
"Can you still trust Me, even if I do not tell you why?" Wow. What a powerful gentle encouraging testimony. At the back of my mind, I always had a question (why God healed some but bypassed us when it came to our child (who is with Him now). We prayed so hard. So Dr Helen's words are like balm to my soul although I wish she didn't have to go through all that suffering. May everyone here and Dr Helen be richly blessed. One day we will all get our answers and even if we don't, it doesn't matter because we shall be with Jesus then and our loved ones (and probably bump into one another in His House ❤).
I heard a parable about trusting in God the other day. A tightrope walker asked the audience if they believed if he was able to walk on the tightrope with a wheelbarrow. Yes, of course the audience answered. You are very good. Okey, how many of you dare to sit in the wheelbarrow then? No one wanted to. No one fully trusted in the tightrope walker. How much do I trust in God? Dare I sit in God’s wheelbarrow? An eye-opener and the most important question of all. To practically have this kind of 100% trust in God, is best described when we meet a temptation. Dare you like me sit down in God’s wheelbarrow ( = surrender the will to God and ask for and receive His strength to overcome the temptation) when you meet different temptations every day? Jesus has won the victory for us and we need to trust in that. I encourage you to listen to this most important life changing truth: ru-vid.com
Dear Helen, I listened to every word you said. You have been a blessing to me through your love for Jesus! Thank you, and I will look forward to seeing you one day in Heaven.
I heard the story about the hot water bottle and the doll in our catechism class preparing young people to recieve the sacraments of reconciliation, holy communion and confirmation in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. I am privileged to hear the story right from this wonderful instrument of God. I will now say yes Lord Thankyou for trusting you my situation even if you will not tell me why. Thankyou Jesus. God Bless you Dr. Katalena Samana Narokobi
