Hey I'd be really interested to know how you've been finding the belt in terms of comfort. Considering this as a replacement for my Blue Force Gear 2in duty belt which has been giving me a little hip/nerve pain lately.
Nothing looks better than a fully loaded Safariland belt. Old school. A cuff key and car key on a key ring hangs perfectly on an upside down snap belt keeper up front.
My agency has started to issue the HSGI sure grip padded belt, I ended up getting one and have had it for the better part of a year and have never had it ride up on me. Must be luck of the draw i guess? i ended up having to use a very thin inner belt because my uniform shirt will untuck itself within a couple of hours lol. BUT ! the belt stays put!
LE myself , thinking about that Ramen noodle diet to get an XC . did it for the C2 & PDUO , my blood pressure actually is still good . ONE MORE TIME haha
Everyone should follow the recommendation from Staccato and all other 1911 manufacturers…Please no dropping (releasing) the slide on an empty chamber, otherwise damage could occur, which will cause later malfunctions.
Where does Staccato say to not do this? I heard the complete opposite, as in they say you can, and it's part of dry firing. Staccato and Atlas both say that, so I'm not sure where you're getting your recommendation from. I'm genuinely asking for everyone's knowledge.
Hey, I watched your duty belt and vest video. the med kit you have, looks like the blue force gear one. How did you mount it vertical as the ones I've seen are horizonal mount only?
Nice belt and overall setup for sure. I still have some of the old Blade-Tech Thumb-drive holsters, they are great if you don't have a weapon light. It's nice to see the latest from them. Wojtek was the name of a bear from WWII.
Kore has a new padded inner belt, FYI in case that was a deal breaker for the Kore belt for you. I like the mounting system of the Wojtek but I can't leave behind the track system that Kore has
Do you have a problem of it being loose on you? I tried tightening it all the way up and even ratcheting it a few clicks and I can get it sturdy but can’t remove all the play in it?
Good kit, expensive hobby to get into though always trying the latest and greatest. Wish my department would allow that type of gear but they are still using leather. Just using open top leather pouches is about as far as most guys push it!
😂 huh? When you wear a seatbelt, do you not worry about getting smoked in a car accident? Their job is often responding to extremely dangerous situations
@@zakallmendinger5029 Thank you captain obvious. I’m pointing out how stupid his comment is. Having weapons and vests doesn’t stop you from getting shot in the face/neck/femoral. So fearing for your life is pretty fucking normal when your job is to respond to calls where there’s a decent chance you get shot
What rhar that nada that thanks you nada for nada nada cosa that nada that nada want cosa nada that nada doing nada doing nada that diners can that town anda that amigo to the house cosa nada want woman cosa no that nada that
You guys might be interested, Alien gear juat came put with a leg strap that has a ratchet on it so it can be used as an emergency tourniquet if needed. Seems like a cool idea.
I ordered the rapid force duty holster and the dynamic drop leg on January 28, and they sent an email confirmation stating that February 17th is the estimated ship date is February 17th.
Wow you kids have all the new state of the art equipment! After 4 years in the Marines 1987-1991. I came home and enrolled into police science. 2 years later graduated and paid for my Academy. We had to by all of our own equipment belt, pouches, holsters and handcuffs. My dept. Issued us their PR-24 baton, oc spray which replaced mace. And cuffs. ASP BATON to. We had no tasers yet. No tram kits no TQ. I use on patrol a Safariland Sam Brown belt with the buckle and tge 94 in basket weave and basket weave pouches. My SWAT belt now a days went from military web 1987 web belts and Vietnam Era pouches. We use the safelife defence belt with the cobra buckle with High speed gear LEO taco pouches. Time for me to retire and leave you young bucks to do the ass kick. Stay safe brothers in blue!
So the detach point was one of my biggest concerns but after wrestling with a guy on the concrete and mud…. It works. Different setup coming next week that some people might like better.
Awesome video. I first purchased the staccato P and loved it. Then bought the heritage about two months ago, but it hasn’t arrived yet. Finally, I bought the C2. Took the C2 to the range and 2/3 of the mags it came with failed to lock back and one had a round nose dive. I called staccato and was put on hold for over 40 minutes, then the rep told me it’s likely due to the mag springs. So he mailed me two mag springs and when I went to go install them, I noticed that they are significantly longer than the ones inside the C2 mag. I realize that most people have had amazing experiences with the staccato lineup and their customer service and that my experience probably isn’t the standard. I still love the guns I just kinda feel that after spending over $7k, maybe they could have just replaced my two bad mags.
