Holy crap, that mask is insane. Thanks for showing us just how incredible it is. I first saw ZFE when I was wayyy too young to see it, definitely cost me a good night's sleep or two back then!
@@AmeliaFDG it’s absolutely one of the best tots masks they have done!!! Haha thats the best way though!!! Exorcist was my way too young film and that ended me 😂
Zombie Flesheaters, or Zombie as Americans call it, is one of the greatest zombie films of all time. Lucio Fulci's run from Flesheaters to New York Ripper is unparalled. Incredible mask!
@@Samhainhorrorandcollectibles No problem, and yep…I can relate, I lost it when I got mine, it was unreal…I can’t describe the feeling, other than maybe pure euphoria, in my case!🥳🎉
Awesome pick ups! I picked up Exorcosf III, Dune 2, and The First Omen, too. I never know what to do with my OBI strips. They make it difficult to sleeve my vinyl, but I can’t bring myself to throw them away or fold them in half.
@@DAVIDDIGS all great pick ups man first omen is a phenomenal score!!! And dune 2 is actually perfect haha ahhh I love a good obi strip yano in alright with flattening mine and putting them in the sleeve personally like
@@mattlandgren4811 nice one man lords of Salem is up there with there best release in my opinion the amount you get with that release is incredible haven’t grabbed the rz Halloween releases yet
My partner and I both came out of the film feeling disappointed. I don’t think that Nick Cage’s performance was the issue as he barely got any screen time. It was mostly just the obvious plot and ‘big reveal’ that wasn’t a big reveal. We did pick up a card with a phone number on it as part of the promotional handouts and that was a fun little thing to call up and listen to
@@alistairDebenham that’s true he did barely get any screen time but for me when he was on screen he was too much, yeah the big reveal was kind of nonsense wasn’t it could telegraph a lot of the plot points really, ahh that promo card sounds sick
Saw it twice myself. 1st watch i'm going in expecting a 'scary Silence of the Lambs/Zodiac' and that quality given the reviews. I thought Monroe was wooden and genrally weird. I felt they rushed the evidence gathering, I was disappointed. Even though I watch most of the good review Horrors, I'm not a HORROR Head. But I couldn't help thinking about it. I watched it again. This time I wasn't getting annoyed that Monroe was so wooden and clues would fall into her lap. because I knew where it was going. Why she was wooden and weird etc etc. I enjoyed it much more. 7-8 out of 10.
@@leonthecanteen5443 yeah man the marketing just kind of fucked the first watch for me so second time it played much better still had problem with cages performance but a lot more of the film landed for me because I knew what to expect so pretty similar experience to yourself still feel slightly disappointed as it was my most anticipated release of the year
I liked it a lot. Definitely more creepy than scary. Nick Cage was right on the edge of being funny and corny but I like the rest of the movie enough to have it not ruined for me by that
@@wrestlerecap1324 that’s fair enough man I couldn’t help thinking he had ripped over the edge of being funny for me but everything I have seen you either love his performance or think it was daft I personally got the daft side of that second watch I was able to enjoy it a lot more though for sure
@@theunsweetkarmaway my first viewing I deffo had awful vibes about it haha but a second viewing certainly helped me out but I honestly stil can’t understand the hype and love this film is getting havent seen many bad reviews at all really
Saw it twice myself. Didn't see any of the marketing though. Has some creepy and bleak vibes but without much payoff but the style is pretty much the reason I went back to see it again. Got bored of Maika's character - enjoyed her more when playing off of other characters. Did the psychic skills have any purpose overall? It lost me in part two as well! Weak on the investigation front. Sudden explanation felt sloppy and rushed. Nic Cage does the film some serious harm (silly looks, over played "craziness") and they show too much of him in a way that kills mystique. On 2nd viewing Nic Cage and that performance definitely the weakest element. Loud sounds and audio edits felt forced, trying too hard to be scary (killed my immersion). Wanted the end to go more batshit wild but it was so so. This style with better writing and bad guy execution could deliver something awesome. The son of "Norman Bates" will hopefully deliver his potential next time - minus BS marketing would be nice too.
@@horriblefridge I think we have pretty much the exact same opinion man you summed it up perfectly haha I do think I would have give so much more credit had it not been nic cage in that role, I agree about maika aswell man I have seen some crazy shouts about her performance and it is fairly average and I didn’t even think about that opening with the psychic shout but it literally has no pay off or point to the long legs case at all does it.
I’m with you on this. After all the hype and the trailer which I thought was genuinely creepy, I went and watched this…cancelling plans and overall, felt disappointed. I thought it was decent, but for me, it felt rushed towards the end and left so many unanswered questions. Lots of plot holes for me…very underwhelming ending as well imo I will definitely watch again, a second watch will help. I enjoyed it just like you said, hype built up my expectations waaaay too high!
I would say infact I think I did haha but if you got anything out of it and were just a little underwhelmed a second watch deffo benefits this film, so I’d recommend seeing it a second time but overall still a little disappointed, yeah the ending didn’t land purely because I think I got every twist fairly early on I didn’t mind the ending but it deffo wasn’t the shocking moment the film wants you to feel
Excellent fix on that head! American Werewolf is my fave of that subgenre, closely followed by Dog Soldiers. Late Phases from 2014 is brilliant, highly recommended!
@@ARealHorrorShow nice one man happy with it now, nightmare from neca that though haha yeah lad I have seen a few and they look so good the sculpt is unreal on this release!
Man that sucks but nice fix in the end, looks OK now...I literally just went to check mine which I haven't opened yet. Fortunately, looks OK. Looking forward to the two pack later this year of David and Jack!
Yeah man I don’t know how that has been allowed to happen on necas part it’s wild! Glad yours looks ok man am happy enough with my fix yeah I can’t wait for that two pack
@@andrewdelahunty6212 ahhh they are some sick pick ups OG halloween pressing is absolutely a grail pick up for my collection at some point aswell great pick ups man
House on haunted hill-Just got mine in the mail and it’s horrible. It’s like listening to the movie. I paid $50 for a soundtrack not for a dvd rip of talking for 30 minutes. The packaging is great but waxwork is guilty of lying to us a lot with these releases. Why don’t they tell us before buying how many minutes is actual music?
Yeah man alot of people are feeling this way, I personally knew that the score supposedly only has 14 mins of music hence all the dialogue but I do feel like this release has been controversial a lot of people feel exactly the same as you about this release, I did enjoy my listen through the other day it felt abit like a radio play haha but I deffo get it if you wasn’t expecting it I love dialogue Ona. Score but I will say even for me this maybe a little too dialogue heavy haha sorry it sucks for you man shit spending that much on a pick up and being disappointed
New subscriber to your channel today matey after hearing you mentioned on Tinmans channel 😎👍 Looking forward to catching up on some of your older vids 👍
Both great releases man!! Listened to house on haunted hill and it’s basically a radio play it’s so good!! 😂😂 maybe that’s what will convert me to a card collector if I get that mean Jean card hahaha
Dude, Hills Have Eyes DMP night is my fav. so far. Got that 70s grit down hard. The Crazies was the 2nd film at my cinema when I saw that one. We share similar sentiments regarding Ti West. Yes, Minus One was proper and on form. Saw it Christmas Eve in a cinema.
Oh Jesus you are talking about House Of The Devil. I feel sick. It's so good. Haha and I agree HotD and Innkeepers are his best. Still hyped for Maxxxine cinema release July 5th. Dude, in case you don't know - UK Mad About Horror (site) have a wicked Maniac hat in stock at the moment.
Yeah man I love house of the devil so much!! Got to say I didn’t love pearl so much didn’t mind X but anything to west does am there for so looking forward to that myself and I know man I picked it up but it was a proper bucket on my tiny head so had to go back I was wounded haha
@@Samhainhorrorandcollectibles Ah damn! And I am hoping Maxxxine is better with it having an 80s setting and more characters and stuff going on (by the looks of the trailer).
I discovered Death Waltz records one time walking through Canterbury. I passed an indy record store and noticed a horror image in the window but what caught my eye was the corner title "New York Ripper". Artwork was unrelated to the Fulci flick so I entered and asked the owner if it was the Fulci film score. We ended up talking for hours because he used to organise Euopean based conventions and spent time meeting and talking with directors, such as Argento. I have the Cannibal Holocaust score too, my personal favourite. Wicked Halloween 3 shirt dude! I love Slumber Party too! Peacock killer~
Ahh that’s sick!!! Death waltz were the best label laaa love the treatment they give to the lesser known or more obscure classics New York ripper is a fantastic release!! Cannibal Holocaust score is iconic man such a. Great contrast between how horrible the film is and the music playing it’s so effective, that record shop owner sounds like a fascinating dude!!!
Subbed for the love of the film. My fav. too. And because you are genuine and speak like a human being. The last vinyl I bought was, PAURA - A collection of Italian horror sounds. TTCSM was played at the Odeon earlier this year at select cinemas, hosted by DMP. Were you able to catch it near to you?
Ahh thank you man appreciate the sub always great nerding out about tcm haha, I did catch it in January dmp are killing it I try to catch all there screening nothing better than catching the classics on the big screen, ahhh I’ve never heard of vinyl I’ll have to check it out cheers man 👍🏻
Think a paint job can make or break a mask! This is super nice and looks to have a lot of layering. Agree with the mouth stitching, think it'd look a lot better with some rough brown garden twine with a bit of coffee stain on it.
Nah I haven’t Yano is that the first film based on the plane crash? Or just another recommendation? Yeah it’s worth checking out man quite intense and edge of the seat type of film deffo check it out 👍🏻
Society of the snow sounds sick. Abigail I really wanna catch as it sounds a real decent film but agree, why have every advert leak the big reveal? At least cut the build up or maybe they thought they needed it to sell the film to the audience? Going to watch society of the snow today I think, remember talking to you about it at the studio!
The Omen is one of the all time greats, for me and the sequels are decent so I'm really looking forward to The First Omen. Fright Night is well better than Lost Boys, for me, which is good but that's about all. Good stuff!
Really looking forward to seeing the new omen hopefully catch it at the cinema next weekend. On a side note where did you pick up that witch poster can't seem to find it anywhere
I was so surprised how much I liked it wasn’t expecting it at all hope you enjoy it, and the witch print is by Andrew Swainson man think it’s still on his store such a great print 👍🏻
@@Samhainhorrorandcollectibles nice one for the heads up over the witch print, he still has them so think I'm going to grab one, I recently watched BENADETTA Directed by Paul Verhoeven might be of interest if you haven't seen it, I really enjoyed it alot more than I thought I was going to. 👍🏻
