I'm guessing due to recent updates, you have to restart the MySQL server after completing everything. Prometheus wasn't able to connect to the database for me and if you're getting the same error, run this command just before you completely close everything: service mysql restart Reloading the server isn't enough; or well for me it wasn't enough.

EDIT: FIXED Edit: Fixed it: gist.github.com/rayshan/70339d8bd4c76b962e48f69fcb34fc61 Download that and create a folder nginx in the /var/default-conf and then create another folder conf.d and put that file in the conf.d folder. Edit the default.conf file and use your domain. When going to the website, make sure to also put the /donate or /(directory) at the end.
