If there was one thing that I would want to be remembered by is to by be recognized for what I love doing, and what I love to do is live my life to the fullest
Unfortunately implementing train stations in puerto rico bcecame impossible, because after the closed up ferro carril that used to travel from arecibo to ponce the train rails were removed and citizen constructions builded houses on top of it, a lot of space that were been left were been occupied for use of properties, it cannot taken down because it belongs to someone.
🇵🇷🇨🇮 the surname "OCASIO" comes from the spanish conversion of O'casey and it traces back to irish soldiers that fought alongside the spanish in the spanish-american war. When the war was over, many irish solders simply stayed in the island and procreated with the locals...
Hello. Do you live in PR? Pay some taxes there and contribute to society. Also cast your vote. Whats Benito's moral compass? Society is based in moral values and general well being for fellow men and women...dont talk the talk..contribute
Damn, I'm of Irish descent (amongst a few European origins) who just happens to be Puertorriqueno, having been born in Rio Piedras. Shame I never lived there but this is a heart warmer. Sad fact, not only PR hasn't been rebuilt after the hurricane but gentrification is intensifying and that's a real cultural killer !
Early life Ohtani was born to Kayoko and Toru Ohtani in Mizusawa (now part of Ōshū), Iwate, Japan, on July 5, 1994. His mother was a national-level badminton player in high school and his father worked at a local automobile manufacturing plant and was an amateur baseball player who played in the Japanese Industrial League. Ohtani is the youngest of three children. He has one older sister, Yuka, and one older brother, Ryuta, who is also an amateur baseball player in the Japanese Industrial League. In Japan, Ohtani was known as a "yakyū shōnen" (野球少年; "baseball boy")-a kid who lives, eats and breathes baseball. Coached by his father, he displayed an aptitude for the game at an early age. He began playing baseball in his second year of elementary school, and as a seventh-grader, Ohtani recorded all but one of 18 outs in a six-inning regional championship game.
Also worth mentioning that first Irish in Indias (it was never América during Spanish period of the hemisphere) was about 1580. They were mostly Irish sailor conscripted by the English. Locally they were called "ganso". In 1797 when Spain and England were yet again having a meltdown, the then Governor of Puerto Rico declared that all the Irish had to leave Puerto Rico, claiming that because they spoke english, they were probably/possibly spies for the enemy. The criollos rallied around the Irish and petitioned the crown to not allow it to happen and won the petition in favor of the Irish.
You are definitely NOT Puerto Rican!! Take that hat of Mexican!!.. Nobody have a problem with Puerto Rico participating in the Olympics but YOU!!.. Go make yourself useful!🤷🏽
Puerto Rico is NOT part of America, it is a COUNTRY. Yo nací en mí país del encanto de Puerto Rico "YO SOY BORRICUA PA QUE TU LO SEPAS" voces de Mónica Puig 🇵🇷
but I have to give props to the Irish who are screaming for Justice in Palestine. They know what it's like to be invaded and oppressed. And genocided via starvation, thank you "great" Britain
I was born en Otoao (Utuado) and lived in NJ almost all my life and nobody is going to convince me the Irish and Italians are not the most racist on the whole east coast .
yeah here in the north east coast wow the racism is overt. the Italians especially. The Irish will just basically ignore you to death. It probably would come out in force if one of theirs started dating one of ours though
@@SandyCheeks63564 The 1968 riots in Trenton began in my high school and it was started by The italians from "The Burg" Those idiots thought they could beat the black students . i saw a lot of people get some major ass whippings .
goes to show that every people have their stupidos. Irish descendants that fall for racism etc are a shame to the history of their their ancestors and is mind boggling to me
I disagree. Puerto Rico's situation is different with that of Palestine. The Palestinians has the option to pursue the proposed "2-state solution". Many times they reject it. Israel has definitely stronger historical connection with the land.
First Jamaicans were the Ostionoid / Redware People Second Jamaicans were the Meillacan People Third Jamaicans were the Taino People Jamaica also has individuals of Miskito descent, as well as Wampanoag due to king Philips War!!!!
He also had “El Club De La Juventud” on channel 47 in NY…it was like a Puerto Rican American Bandstand. Yo era una nena de 6-7 añitos and I loved watching it.
So, let me get this straight, Puerto Rico is a Nation that could vote to be a U.S. State. If they vote to become a State will they still be a Nation? This video states that Puerto Rico is a colony of the United States. Puerto Rico was colonized by Spain. Puerto Rico became part of the United States as a result of the Spanish American war. So, can a colony be colonized? This video states that there will be a "non binding status referendum giving Puerto Ricans the option to vote for statehood". Isn't "non binding status referendum" an oxy-moron. How can a referendum be non-binding? Isn't that just an opinion poll? Is Palestine a Nation, but not a Country? Are England, Scotland, and Wales Countries AND Nations. Is the United Kingdom only a Country and not a Nation. Is the United Nations is made up of Member Countries and not Nations, even though Nation is in their name. And, finally, when will the Country (or Nation) of Vatican City assemble an Olympic Team? Or, would that be unfair because God would be on their side?
Hip-hop evolved from Jazz, Rock & Roll, R&B, Country, Gospel, Funk, Disco all of which are Black 🇺🇸creations. The four elements came exclusively from Black 🇺🇸. Rapping - Jubalaires 1940s, Pigmeat Markum 1968. DJing - Pete DJ Jones and Grandmaster Flowers. Breakdancing - Mills Brothers 1930s later in the early 70s Trixie and Sasa. Graffiti - Cornbread 1960s. 🇵🇷🇯🇲 didnt create hip hop. If anything 🇵🇷 brought back breakdancing in the late 1970's early 1980's but they didn't create it....
Exactly, ppl gotta understand that Puerto Rican didn't help create hip hop, nor Jamaicans (and saying this as a descendant of both) but they did help in contributing to make it popular.
