Awww...poor little pumpkin. I remember when they put my little girl in my arms. It hurt to see her so upset. But within a couple of days she was enjoying all the attention and love. I'm glad you have your Hannah. I hope you have a wonderful life together
I’m glad a lovely child was adopted, but we didn’t hear anything from the parents about their thoughts or hopes or anything. It was just a Loud, blaring Muzak video with still pictures. I don’t know who started this trend where every single adoption video has to be a 10 or 15 minute long Muzak video with nothing but pictures, but I HATE it.
These are personal journeys. I'm glad people post because it may encourage adoption. What bores or bugs us about a video is much less important than what's happening in it: A child is coming home to his/her family for the first time. No, I'm not an adoptive parent - just have respect for the ride. Peace.
They say the child often feels the mom is taking the place of their nanny and will take a but to get through grief but then bond, idk. A family member recently adopted but baby was a newborn so the issues are less complicated.

Sorry I must be missing something here - this little girl is a sweetheart and utterly adorable so what actually is a ‘ cutie’ ? And do you have to be a ‘cutie’ to be loved and have a wonderful ,loving family to take care of you? . You make it sound as though she doesn’t deserve to be loved and I cant think why - is it because she has a little bit of baby fat on her ? - if so I have never heard such unkindness and vindictiveness in all my life. All babies have varying degrees of baby fat it is how they survive . May God richly Bless this little girl and her lovely family .
