I did look it up and found the term, "cousin once removed" and figured that was correct, but my brain couldn't stop thinking that meant removed meant there was a divorce or something LOL!! I didn't know that's what second cousin meant so thank you!! Second Cousin Riku it is!!
I see most people using the day designer pocket (A6) one find it’s too small. They are all having to pair it with a notebook and a ton of sticky notes. It’s become pretty viral but for most it’s way too small and not actually functional without adding other stuff to it. But they love it 😅 I tried it earlier this summer but it was too small as I’d expected but thought maybe I was wrong. I gave it to my kiddo and he’s loving it. Though he still using a a full size academic planner. The day designer is for his home stuff and routine tracking mostly. He did have me set it up for him to make it less girly. There’s other covers from other places but most are more expensive than target some almost twice as much. Bloom paper sells one too.
The only thing I really love about the size is that it can fill up really quickly! Lol, I found I'll stick with a planner/notebook longer the quicker I can fill it up. It makes me feel accomplished - LOL!!
@@Seeamydraw I get that. I like small sometimes too for that. But it also has to have enough space for function and me to be organized and the day designer just doesn’t fit that bill. It’s interesting to see how viral it’s become even though almost everyone I see using it can’t fit their basic weekly needs in it without adding lots of sticky notes and extra pages. But there is the feels you get from seeing all the writing and extra pages sticking out 😝
During the month of July I'm rarely on social media as I'm too busy with my monthlong birthday celebration so I haven't seen one post about the Day Designer being the latest buzz on IG. Yay me! LOL! I am chucking at Scout, who clearly was trying to help you with your talking points.😂I just picked up a ruled version of the Leuchtturm A5 in Sage.💚 As for 2025, I am getting a Hobonichi Cousin and a Hobonichi Day Free, I need to decide on a 7x9 vertical weekly. Discbound and dated is preferred. I used undated inserts from VillabeauTifful for my vertical 7x9 this year.
i think i'm gonna go back to the passion planner for 2025! i have the aura estelle daily right now and losing steam 😅 i also got a horizontal target planner that i will continue through next year. and i'm interested in trying the aura estelle passport. love seeing your flip-throughs!!
I’m leaning towards using the Aura Estelle A5 365 planner. I believe that will fit my needs best. I also have a target planner that I use to note about my day before putting it in the nicer planner. I want to say those are the only two but I know how I am and this will change or become a longer list 🤣

Your stickers are so cute!! I also loved seeing the junk journal! Do you make spreads for it regularly? or only when you have done some king of outing or something special happened? I kind of like the idea of using it for trips, events, and little special/fun things. Great video!

I started back in college taking notes on looseleaf ( that’s really all we had back then, and I would reorganize and make a nicer, color coded copy, that way I would have already studied once. It was huge to realized that I did better with a binder vs a spiral notebook
That’s how I am, I tend to look at the month or the font, sticker, layout, etc. and only really read a quote that is pointed out or something like that lol. Maybe you put a 1 instead of a 7 because you they both started with a Monday the 1st

Love this! Do you typically just use these 3 pens? I love how high-contrast your spreads are. I love the Fudenosuke and use it often in my drawings as well, but I've never tried the Pentel Clena. How does that compare to the G2's?
