Thank you. I've a honda civic hybrid 2008 auto - IMA lights comes on while driving the car for 15 min so. I then stop the car turn OFF the ignition. Wait for few sec and turn the ignition ON the IMA light goes. What can be the problem??
Maybe check the ac control? Take it to a pro for diagnosis? Either way, if you're getting a new car... Stay in the civic gang! Try to get the 2.0 N/A. (Usually sport trims), because the L15 turbo isn't the best for reliability. Some people get fantastic gas mileage with the 2.0. I myself would love an FL5 but that's just too much money.
That was already replaced once but it was used from another car.. so maybe it could be that again, but I’m not really seeking to invest more money into it unless it’s routine maintenance or it fixes a problem that allows the car to run and drive good
Mate, I'm 17, getting my first car, and it's the same model. Your video has shown what I'm getting. My car has had it engine replaced. The original one had 90k miles on it then they swapped it put for a engine with 25k on it. Thanks for the walk through! 👋
I am having the same problem red battery light is still on, changed the 12V battery IMA packs seems to charging and discharging good could anyone please help in this it’s civic 07 .
i think the reason they didnt leave it is for the other colours. I have a blue Acura CSX essentially an 8th gen anyway, and underneath my vynil is blue. I wont lie, the black vynil looked better on my car. regardless looks clean on your car man!
I bought one 2005 Jeep liberty 4x4, lifted with customize wheels and 265 70 16 tires. It was the perfect Jeep for me to go camping, around town and such. I really love the handling. It is what it is, it's a Jeep. Go places. Mpg is not too bad, over all, I love it very much.
You tried man, respect for that as not everbody is willing to do this job. In fact, some "mechanics" would run away from it because of the restricted space to work there, and the risk of snapping the 8 min hex bolt or the tensioner. Those tensioners are hydraulic unlike the old spring loaded on other vehicles. Glad your car is back from the hospital.
I don’t know why Honda did such an inferior design. It would have been so much better with the spring loaded. Honestly it broke because I did expect it to be spring loaded. I learned the harsh reality that day. Thanks for not being a dick head like some other people were about my video “bEiNg A wAsTe oF tImE” I explain it’s a vlog style video but not everyone listens.
This shit just started happening to my 2010 civic and i got OCD this shit ruined my whole fuckin day. I want to completely fix it though, but the whole OEM cluster is 400 dollars smh
@@Specmautoyea you got that right buddy! Its funny cause now ive just been hitting the dashboard like you do and it fixes it all day. For some reason it only does it in the early morning?? Lol was this the same for you? Like once she warms up the all of a sudden fixes the numbers. I honestly am just going to wait until it completely takes a shit and then fix it myself. I found a good video from a spanish guy on here. You basically just gotta remove it. And then re-solder the connections. After awhile the solder lines crack, so you just gotta put some more aluminum in it and boom goes back to fully normal. It just is a total nightmare removing the dash
We had one in MN. A 2007 that started as a rental. Probably 3rd or 4th owners. We had to trade it in at 253k miles because the rust was bad. Worst rust I've ever seen on a vehicle. Some kid bought it and drove it to 275k miles despite the side pinch welds being detached from the unibody, and you could see outside light.
