you can easily do it yourself. just open the mission in the mission editor, and change one of the existing aircrafts to the F-4E. if you don't want to change an existing aircraft you can just copy and past an existing aircraft and change it's type. be sure to edit the Names as well
FYI shrikes are bugged right now, some shrike seekers will give you a tone without actually tracking, or they'll track without ever giving you a tone. For now this is what I do: for SA-2, SA-5, SA-10 and SA-19s use the 2-6GHz broadband (will target the tin shield of the SA-5 and the big bird of the SA-10, you can't get shrikes to guide on the tracking radars right now as far as I can tell) for SA-3, SA-6, SA-8 and SA-11 use the 6-10GHz G bias (although SA-11s don't appear to take damage from shrikes)
Note that this mode is supposed to be used with missiles set to Loft Attack in arming panel, but I'm not sure if the ballistics in WRCS are correct yet for that, didn't have time to fly it a lot yet
Important to note: The target altitude needs to be dialed into the WRCS manually (a WSO job). In this case it didn't really matter as the target is pretty much at sea level.
Came back after testing higher up. You are right, the altitude input is very important at high altitudes as it is used for distance calculation, which feeds into release timing. I've updated the video description with this info. Thanks
@@92HazelMocha AGM-78 isn't too late for F-4E, it was fielded in 1969, used on F-105G and A-6 Intruder in Vietnam, later by F-4G. But it's juste that it wasn't used on F-4E...
The pointing down is for the ins to calculate best point to release based on stored parameters. Shrike is completely dumb and has no own guidance apart from radar receiver. it doesn't know it's supposed to go there nor does it try to. Imagine it's a ccrp on a dumb rocket and the pointing down and lock is the targeting pod that gives the ccrp location
@@maplegumm nah the F-15 was okay but based on combat performance nothing beats the MiG-21, used by dozens of countries, destroyed aircraft well above its technology like the F-4 and F-14. Very few aircraft can go from 2nd generation to 4+. Best in history, F-16s comes second followed by Flankers then F-4s
