I remember 11yo me watching the premiere of Buddy Holly on MTV and seeing a write up about it in the paper days later. Like now, there’s never a bad time to become a Weezer fan!! Enjoyed seeing River’s asking security for that Weezer flag. To me the images on the flag represent 2 different Weezer fan bases joining hands, coming together!!
You are the best band EVER!!! Thoug I like Twisted Sister, AC/ DC, Sabbath and Iron Maiden, But you are the best along with NOFX!!!! I love You and NOFX!!!!
This show was awesome and you are lucky if you were there. The field flash flooded and trying to keep anything dry was impossible. This venue was great i wish it were still open, saw a few good shows there. My favorite part was the county jail being on the side opposite the casino (us on the tiny field/stage in between) Bet those inmates had some interesting nights lol.
God. This is one. beautiful. ass. song! It will forever remind me of my husband, my love, my high school sweetheart, and our good times & horrible times together. THE BEST last song on ANY album.....EVER.
Ikr... been part of weezer way longer than him too and yet people still don't wanna give him recognition, always matt this matt that smh. if u wanna listen to blue and pinkerton only then do that, but weezer now is not what it was 25 years ago and u gotta accept that...
The fact that this only has 14,000 views is criminal. This song was voted in the top 15 guitar songs of all time by the likes of Jimmy Page, Angus Young and others for a reason. The precision, technicality, perfect harmony of Brian and Rivers playing, the skill level, the complexity, that driving bass. Go listen to the original. The ending is absolutely impeccable, and this song deserves so much more respect and praise. One of my favorite Weezer tunes. An absolute masterpiece.
The battle between the two guitars, simply amazing, the drum player who seems to make it stops. And nope the guitars are now playing bass theme. It ends like it started with only the bass player
