I love your work. I enjoyed watching you do the t-cup. I am anxious to try this. I have been wanting another outlet for my creative side. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
Love this pattern. Fabric is prepared and ready to go. I’ll start today. One suggestion on your videos: please pull the camera back so we can see you sort your fabrics by value. That is one of the most difficult parts for me and your sorting would help me in sorting mine. I like to have them in a value range when I start even though they get all scrambled once I start. I can take a photo of the array before starting.
Ok, I received my Lotus Blossoms quilt kit and I am already done with it. What a great project this was and so easy even for a beginner like me. Thank you, Thank you. I am starting on the blue bird tomorrow. I would show you a picture on facebook, but I don't know how to do that with my phone.
Why is this video called “Learning the Basics of Collage Quilting? I’m hoping to find instruction on how to start and this is not that. Can you please make a recommendation for the best video to watch to get started? Thanks!
Sorry that is just our default title! I recommend taking a look through our RU-vid channel, we have hundreds of videos and tutorials. I also suggest taking a look at my book, "Collage Quilter, Essentials for Success." You can find it on my website here- collagequilter.com/collections/education/products/book-collage-quilter-essentials-for-success-with-collage-quilts
Emily, thank you so much for showing this to us. I am doing my teacups right now on another project and am having a very difficult time. I keep cutting my pieces jagged and too small. So thank you again for this.
