Know that everyone of us does this voluntarily in our spare time, simply because we love doing this.
I dont think the ego thing works anymore. Listen to this album, and ask yourself "who wrote these lyrics?" Im telling you, a 7 year old couldve written those.
I love these guys, they're the best band (in my opinion), so I loved this interview. Thanks for sharing this, I enjoyed it immensely! I love all their albums, I have never heard a song by them that I do not enjoy. I look forward to seeing what they create in the future, and wish that I could attend one of their concerts (especially since they're doing a US tour this year!), but alas, I cannot. They're a HUGE inspiration for my band, Starfall. Again, thanks for uploading this interview. I'll be watching more of your videos in the future! Glad I found this video so I could be introduced to HeadBangers LifeStyle. Y'all rock 🤘
No he is just a short guy and even says in this interview how his band is not the one that started this whole "dwarf metal" thing but they liked it and ran with it. It was also due to a video clip where they had a lot of dwarfs digging, hence "dwarf metal" and I am sure with more research you will find more info and angles on the whole subject.
Hello! I don't listen to Deafheaven, that's not my cup of tea at all. If you want to find out what kind of Black Metal I listen to you can check out my black metal side project Noctule, where the influences are pretty obvious. Best wishes, Serena
@@serenac6240 i listened to it. that's what my comment is based on. Noctule is not black metal. it has much more in common with modern post-metal than anything that came out of norway in the 90s.
Nobody believes me but I saw these guys when they were called Avatar and were covering AC/DC songs at USnset Beach in Tarpon Springs. I was friends with their buddy band Brian, Ed, and Steve!
When he talks about the Rolling Stones he probably means Mick Taylor who left the group in 1974, and not Brian Jones who died in 1969. When Brian died Michael was 14 years old.
Saw TSO 2 nights ago (West Coast lineup in Sacramento). Too bad I missed the dynamic of Caffery, Hoekstra, Stevens & Allen. When the bar's so high, you almost feel like WC is a cover band.
Liebe-schöne Lilo- dein Kanal ist Klasse, aber bei manchen Interviews sollte schon ein etwas besserer Sound gegeben sein, welcher hier und da einfach zu leise erscheint aufgrund störender Hintergrund-Kulisse! Slave to Rock and Metal forever!!
My first SEPULTURA concert was in december 2022 and I remember they played 3 songs from "Quadra", the first was "Isolation" and it was a blast. "Quadra is the best SEPULTURA album without Cavaleras.
You asked great questions - many that I have had. Most interviewers ask the same questions but these led to some great answers. I'm glad to hear things are heating up with my favorite band, with exciting things in the works! If only a tour in the United States would be a part of that!
