@@JCherry85 Yeah was a twat to recover failed twice then used a different version and it did it straight away that was as far as it would recover to of the last gig

@cityullm53 yeah cheers, I was at William booth and did actually have los maybe not for a brief moment behind the blue Cross supports dropping down to go through the tunnel and the other vids I moved down each battery starting near town did a video of Holy Trinity side aswell but didn't put it on because we were having a funeral there a couple of days later and didn't seem right mrs was in their sorting stuff out at the time awkward when your on the edge of legal. I would sooner loose a drone than cause an issue and have often prematurely disarmed and ditched a drone if theres any risk I can fly los aswell at large distance with the lights on them I like the front different to the back and can tell orientation especially with the bigger dji drones trouble with the new system is it constantly updates the rth height and manual control mode gets disabled in that area which there is no warning of until it just does also it this was only a little 3" so no real drama sketchy flights i usually use a dron thatd 108g so other than been a distraction pretty safe the security box I was directly oposite had no one manning it with the door wide open so figured it was shift change soon as someone came I kept away and tried to keep below the road aswell as to not distract any drivers next time the roads closed I'll be back with a more capable drone I was probably trespassing but no signs were up gates wide open and i was in full hi vi's trousers and t shirt with rigger boots on so blended in I guess a guy with a dog was next to me who also walked through the open gate I've kept my uncut vid as backup incase of getting any trouble over it and the log files which can plot full flights on a 3d google maps. Another pilot that was completely legal I suspect had some grief over a flight and had to do another vid to prove that you can't go off the data on the screen so we do have to be careful of this, I fly from the corner of makro for some long range tests aswell and lock the height to fly low to the water but can still see the lights if needed upto half way across the humber bridge then the bend blocks los expected trouble with that flight aswell I went through the green buoy boat. @JCherry85 cheers was something different still think the avata 2 is pretty capable of more than cinematic it's the wind what seems to send it into meltdowns plane was 3s so anything much faster would be a struggle

@OsirisFilm yeah the avata2 didn't like the crosswind either it was just all I had with me at the time unfortunately I've given it some abuse but i don't really class it as an fpv drone it's a camera drone like the potato great at what they do

@@AnotherTrucking Any drone is better than no drone =))). Neither the first one regarding crosswinds... my opinion is that is still too bulky for a cinewhoop. Dunno how the power is but it seems it has a kick to it. Propwash normal or over?

@OsirisFilm when you give it grief it goes like the first one like it's going todo the death roll like the first but it takes over for always 1.2 seconds I've found and then gives you control back think that was the solution anywhere near the 60mph and full yaw it does it every time and absolutely no power pulling out of a dive but only to be expected with a 4s liion can't say I'm disappointed in it didn't intend any tricks with it or hard acro it just ain't very capable aggressively flying I don't mind the potato though aswell smashed 4 of them up the first year I was flying good for high winds

@GAVINHR Cheers I caught them on a shift change so was clear briefly and was directly oposite security and i got no grief but didn't take the mickey. Great job on the cellular dongle BTW very interesting I can't decide if to get the mini or the air myself and definitely the dongle very useful piece of kit

@@JCherry85 cheers finally got round to it was in the middle of loads of files I hadn't gone through

That crappy wobble messed the start shot up tried to cut it out but couldn't get it to line back up good without messing about with scale and rotation crap 1.2 seconds again it's definitely software issue I've not updated it yet either still on the first firmware might don't today see what the 10bit is all about and 4k 100fps

Would of been good with a full grid and I didnt want to distract the unaware drivers so was mindfull and tried to keep behind them and out of their sight

Cheers could be alot better with a little planning but on the fly and with my phone in an hour wasn't too bad I was happy

Yeah im pretty impressed especially 4s liion can catch you out with no power to pull out of dives but 35mph winds with a whoop and still got decent footage really I love the wind but usually with some power in the drone lol

The other boat heading out it panicked at 71% battery and was try to rth even in sport mode was getting nowhere so stuck it back on manual arse fell out abit when I turned and realised how far down wind I had gone tried to get above the land lol

Yeah shame the rain footage lens was blathered in water still fairly clear though
