God, I love this. I find it diffuclt to watch interviews of Cherie nowadays because I so desperately want to meet her. From 12 until now at 25 and on, she'll always be my top cherished musician of all time. Top .1% of Runaways listeners right here, not bad for a gen z :)
Lucky you for being in the presence of these two Suzi and Cherie both of them are my favourite people, sometimes me and Cherie chat on Facebook messenger she's such a down to earth person, love her and Suzi ❤️❤️
Cherie Ann Curryie eye-catching's enchanting! Do you think he is made of translucent wax ?! Do you know where his twin Marie is? I'm already old, my Cherie is no longer young, but I still love these Cherrie!
@@jhopesstrawberry9707 Mad Max wore a leather jacket and leather pants along with a T-shirt. Was Mad Max androgynous? No he was not. Leather is not androgynous. If Suzi had shaved her head and wore no makeup that would have been an androgynous look. If Mad Max had long hair, lipstick and eyeliner that would be an androgynous look. A hot looking woman with long hair and makeup dressed in leather is not androgynous. It could maybe be seen as a femme fatale look.
I have had a throb for Sonja since I was 14, "it happened today" was the song that did it but backstreet love had a similar moody, stoner vibe. The violin melody in "today" plus her voice enchanted me, I didn't even know what she looked like, now that's enchantment, a gypsy fiddler and a glassy eyed crystal gazer chick layin it on thick.
Suzi likes Cherie but she doesn't like Joan Jett and thats why Suzi approves of Cherie. What did she ever do? Cherry Bomb. No one even remembers who she is haha. An old post glam rocker from a Suzi Quatro wanna be band. Jett ripped off Suzi Quarto totally
@@jamesnuttall_ well.... Regarding Joanie, words are meaningless when they aren't complemented with actions or attitude that supports them. . I always say "watch what they DO, not what they SAY. That's my thing
Suzi likes Joan a lot! The only thing I’ve hear and I don’t know if it’s true or not, is that when they met back in the 70s, Joan was trying to flirt with Suzi and she didn’t like that haha!
@@carlosarturosousagarridole9361 every reply he give is just a meaningless insult. How about having a counter argument. You sound like a butthurt fan. I dont hate Cherie but that comment about her just singing with a corset then quitting ....well true. I'll admit that.
What did Cherie do? She sang Cherry Bomb and wore a corset. Then she quit the band. This is important? Maybe that's all there was? Easy come, easy go. Turn the page.
@@carlosarturosousagarridole9361 I mean he's not wrong. He just summed up her career bluntly. She still sings the same songs to this day and cherri Bomb is played out, meanwhile Joan and Lita moved on making solo careers. The corset was literally the apex of her career.
I could listen to these two talk forever. Cherie is a legend in her own right and what can you say about Suzi except that she's an icon and as stated the Godmother of Rock and Roll! Watching old Runaways clips, I can definitely see that Cherie's stage presence was influenced by Suzi.
