Are you still happy with the printer? Can it print doublce-sided/duplex printing ? Is the front door automatically opening when printing starts or it has to be manually opened? Does it have a paper tray underneath ?

Probably a head that needs replacing as you said, however actually having ink and paper in your printer also helps.

Why you didn’t show us how back it ?

same problem on mine.. tried already 20 fixex to try to back it up running with no luck.. shame Canon makes such a problem with his printers!
