In the end deepdown Sol and Quimir look both for the samething. But since the Jedi deny emotions they deem negative he loosesher. He wants her unconditionally
Yeah, I'm disappointed with Acolyte's script because it gets lost in showing the same flashback 4 times when I would like to know so many other things, but I'm curious and I hope they reveal more very soon
@lauralicianeri4383 I think they could have done it a bit better but it's definitely not the hate crime of a writing job people make it out to be. And the flashbacks did show us some things like how there was miscommunication between Osha and Mae and the witches and the jedi. I also thought the whole thing seemed like a metaphor for native Americans or first nations people, how the "saviors" think they're doing the right thing but the miscommunication and misunderstanding of what the witches are doing leads to conflict and death.
@@kindofagod7 I think it's a victim of shorter and shorter shows...like how much story can you really cram into 8 40-min episodes??? People treat filler episodes in older shows so bad but they actually help with developing the characters. If the show will ever have a second season, I hope we get more episodes
@LynS-kv3ku part of what I think people need to realize is that a lot of the flash back scenes that many criticize for being boring are actually important character development. I guess you could call those "filler episodes." Also, with how much hate everything Disney puts out gets, they cant really invest into a long, high budget show without seeing how this goes first. I think they are definitely making a second season tho, they don't just tease plagueis and then not do anything else. Ignore the hate acolyte team, I support this show I think it's going places
I love the Acolyte it’s a good show i have no issues with it. It’s not for everyone, but please stop bashing shows just because you don’t like them? Like Andor, that was the only star wars show i disliked and could not finish watching. I love the idea of Osha and Qimir being together, i totally ship them. Mae is just hilarious and it will be interesting to see what happens to her. I’m pretty sure one of the twins will be killed off in later seasons if the show gets to a third or fourth season, the actress can only play two roles at the same time for so long, it must be hard for her to pull off and just goes to show, Amandla has talent.
Wow that’s crazy andor was amazing this show I can see why people don’t like it, I don’t hate it, I enjoyed ep 5 especially, but you should really reconsider andor, imo one of the best star wars shows and most star wars fans love it.
I agree with you. The Acolyte is a really good show, but that's just my opinion! Not everyone else has to agree with it. I personally liked Andor, but I understand that some people don't like it. Just because people don't like something doesn't mean that it's a "bad" show. They just don't like it because it's Disney and they aren't giving many shows under Disney a chance (other than Bad Batch and Andor)
Okay I don’t mean offense but if you’re calling the acolyte good and andor terrible, you objectively don’t know what comprises compelling storytelling. All I get are shallow reasons for why people like the acolyte. And all i get are more shallow reasons to why they hate andor. You can of course have those opinions that’s fine, but sophisticated taste is a real thing, and I don’t think it’s elitist to use the word sophisticated either.
For me, in this TV series, the only season worth watching is the first one. But despite this, and despite the fact that the story of Charlotte and Sidney cannot be compared to any other, Charlotte's character deserved its happy ending and better that it be with a gentleman of integrity like Colburne. But I still think they could have found a more handsome actor than this. It's impossible for me not to compare him to Theo James.
The few people here saying they look like siblings...you guys know nothing about what makes people look like each other. The shallow traits of the characters maybe make them "similar". The blond hair and brown eyes. But dye her hair dark(as it usually is)and that's gone and if that was true they were never alike cause you wouldn't be able to make that kind of thing desappear only dying a hair. Their faces are nothing like each other. He has a longer and thinner face and smaller eyes, not to mention he is whiter than her, she has a round face and more expressive eyes. Seriously, look for pictures of them without the characterization and you guys will see, they have literary nothing alike.
