This the music we listened to cruising Hampton Beach me and my best girl the same girl who waited three years for me to come back from the military and still the love of my life ❤❤❤❤❤
@@jerrynash8920 I see. I don't think they were popular enough in the 1960s for us to be able to remember them at our ages back then. (I was only 7.) I didn't hear about them until about 10 years ago.
Lead singer is as lovely as can be----a perfect '60s beauty. The other girl is cute and appealing, too. I l also covet the dude's jade or turquoise Telecaster-style guitar. That's a really cool-looking instrument.
I was starting college when they became popular, and although I love many of their songs, this is my favorite due to it's philosophical message. "Try to live life like a lover. Try to keep life from keeping you down." As far as arrangement, my vote would go to 'Stardust.
The Peppermint Rainbows hit songs were very big in the spring of 1969, their songs were great and I was a Freshman living in Elwood, New Jersey, attended Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, New Jersey. It was my final months of living in New Jersey. June 21,1969 I had moved to Newark,Delaware. The late 1960’s music and the music of the 1970’s was great.
